Sebastian entered the paddock in Melbourne, Australia. Another season was beginning, another season of hopping from country to country. After a less than successful testing period last month he was feeling slightly apprehensive about the upcoming race, Suzie was not behaving. He kept his Red Bull Racing cap pulled down low, his sunglasses on hiding his eyes and any flicker of emotion from the cameras that were swirling around him. He was flanked either side by Britta, his PR, and Antti, his personal trainer. He passed Fernando Alonso, as he carried on walking, who was with his girlfriend. Seeing some of the drivers with their girlfriends made him wish he had someone to bring to races with him. Having someone standing at the back of the garage to support him, give him a smile, comfort him after a bad result and celebrate with him after a win was the main thing he felt he was missing from his hectic life. For all his success, fame and money he'd earnt over the last few years, he was lonely. Yet he was never really alone, the only time he was, was at night in bed. That's when he craved some female company the most. Other drivers managed to juggle a busy f1 career with a wife and kids, he was now at a point in his life where, at 26 years old, he wanted the same.

I stood still as the make up artist took a final look at my face, carefully brushing a little powder over my nose before applying a bit more red lipstick. I felt so nervous. I'm the first ever Red Bull Party girl. A position I know Red Red Racing will probably be criticized for as people will probably think it's a step back with sexism in the sport. My role was to be purely a promotional one, attending various events and parties to promote the team, as well as all the race weekends where I'll have to be in the garage adding a touch of glamour before and after races and available for various photo calls. Even I've got to admit it all sounds a bit superficial. I moved to stand in front of the full length mirror. My stomach flipped with a mixture of nerves and excitement, this was it. My debut was coming up. I took in my appearance, I hoped to god this wouldn't be my uniform all the time, I may as well be bloody naked. The skin tight navy blue catsuit is covered in the team's and sponsors logos, but doesn't leave much left to the imagination. It zips up at the front but plunges low. I feel like a glamour model, and not in a good way, this is not quite what I signed up for.

There was a knock at the door and Emma stepped in. She was head of PR for the team and part of the travelling team.
"Wow! Harper!" She eyed me up and down. "The guys out there won't know what's hit them!" She exclaimed.
"That's what I'm worried about, I haven't got to wear this all the time have I? I thought I was going to be in a dress?" I fought the urge to pull the catsuit up over my breasts, I daren't disturb my carefully applied body tape.
"No, I don't think you'll wear the catsuit again until Monaco after this weekend. Don't worry, you look fab!" Emma opened the door. "Are you ready?"
"No! I'm petrified!" I gave a nervous giggle.
"You'll be fine, the driver briefing has just finished so we can head to the garage now. They've got Seb's car out in the pitlane ready for the photos. Come on!" She grinned and gestured to the open door with her head. I took one last look in the mirror before heading out the door, glad I've got the same footwear as the crew and not heels that I could go ass over in as my legs were shaking. Stepping out in to the sunshine I was immediately struck by how busy it was. The paddock was packed full of people, various team members from all teams were busily making their way from A to B, fans were walking about looking awestruck, presenters looking stressed trying to find a small space to work in with their production crews, and press photographers were milling about trying to catch a driver or any celebrity. I made my way carefully across to the back entrance of Red Bull's garage, fully aware of people staring at me. A couple of photographers started clicking away at me and a tv camera seemed to appear out of no where, following me until I had entered the garage. I followed Emma and soon realised I'd entered Daniel Ricciardo's side of the garage. He was the new driver replacing Mark Webber, this was to be his first race weekend for the team too. At least I had something in common with someone here.
"Morning Christian!" Emma headed over to the team principal with me following awkwardly behind her.
"Morning Emma." He smiled, his eyes already settling on me.
"I want you to meet Harper, she's starting with us today in a promotional role as the Red Bull Party girl." She explained. "I've bought her in here a bit early to meet the team before the photo shoot starts. Harper, this is Christian Horner, the team principal."
"Hello Harper." He held his hand out to me and I took it, shaking it. "Welcome to Red Bull Racing."
"It's great to be here." I smiled, the nerves had kicked in.
"Let me just get everyone's attention and I'll introduce you to everyone. You'd be all morning meeting people otherwise." He scanned the room quickly making sure his two drivers were also around. "Ok everyone!" He called, clapping his hands to get their attention. "Can I just have everyone's attention for a moment please?!"
"Holy fuck." Daniel murmured to his trainer Michael. "I think I've just died and gone to heaven, have you seen that?!" He nodded his head in my direction, unfortunately for him I'd heard him.
"Daniel! Are you with us?!" Christian called, causing a ripple of laughter throughout both garages. "Ok, everyone here?!" The sound of people talking stopped. I felt even more self conscious than I'd ever felt in my life. "Ok, now I know some of you are already aware of the new member of our team." He'd already seen people staring, including Daniel. "I just wanted to quickly introduce you all to Harper." I gave a little wave while cringing internally. "Harper is working along side our PR team as Red Bull's first ever Party Girl." Cue lots of whistling. "I'm sure you will meet her during the day and make her feel welcome, thank you everyone." Christian turned to me. "Just ignore the whistles, some of my team seem to have a low mental age!"
"You don't say." I thought to myself while plastering on a smile.

Britta glanced at Sebastian and had to stop herself from laughing. She placed her hand under his chin, pressing his mouth closed.
"Sebastian! Please close your mouth!"
"What?" He turned to look at her.
"You were very obviously staring at the poor girl." She rolled her eyes as Seb watched Harper being taken back out of the garage.
"I can't wait to meet her properly." He grinned, maybe his weekend might not go too bad after all.
"Well, looking at Daniel's reaction you might not be the only one." She said giggling. "Right, come on, you've got your interview to do with RTL before the press photos begin." She tapped him on the shoulder before walking away, making him follow.

Sebastian and Daniel stood in front of the press, posing with Seb's race car, each of them sitting on a front wheel with their race helmets on display. A load of whistles erupted from the garage as I made an appearance with Emma. I gave a shy smile as I walked through Seb's side of the garage. The same sounds erupted from the men in the assembly of photographers as I approached the two drivers.
"G'day." Daniel spoke first, grinning from ear to ear. "I'm Daniel."
"I think she knows that mate." Seb laughed, catching my attention, it was then when I was then hit with how attractive he was. Wow. I felt instantly drawn to him, just by seeing him laugh and smile. This was unexpected.
"Right, you three." Emma began. "Can you stand in front of the car with Harper in the middle?" She watched as we assembled in a line, I'm sure I looked a little awkward inbetween them. "Can you both put an arm around her?" Emma asked.
"This is cosy." Daniel joked.
"Very." I giggled as the throng of cameras started clicking away.
"Ok, Harper, just you and Seb next." Emma called. Daniel moved to stand next to Emma and they watched as Seb stood smiling next to me.
"Hi." Seb said as he slipped an arm around my waist. "What a way to meet huh?"
"You could say that." I replied.
"Fancy a drink later?" He asked. I turned my head to look at him, surprised. Was the four time world champion asking me out? He was quick off the mark, I'll give him that.
"Erm, yeah, sure." The words fell from my mouth like verbal diarrhoea, I didn't even give myself a chance to say I was washing my hair.
"I'll see you a bit later and we'll sort out a time for me to pick you up." He said smiling at me. He had the bluest eyes I'd ever seen on a man. We both returned our attention to the cameras.
"Ok, Dan, you next. Just do the same as Seb." Emma said, gesturing to Seb for him to go over to her. Daniel arrived at my side.
"G'day, again." He grinned slipping his arm around me. We smiled for the cameras, obeying yells from the photographers to turn this way and that way. "What are you doin' later?" He asked. I broke out in to a massive grin.
"I'm kind of doing something later." I replied.
"Ah, Seb's already asked you out, hasn't he?" He said, making me wonder if there was some kind of competition going on between them.
"He has, yes." I admitted. "Sorry."
"Crafty bloody German." He muttered.
"Harper, it's just you they need now!" Emma's voice could be heard over the cameras clicking and shouts from the press. "You know what to do!"
"If you ever want a real man, you know where to find me." Daniel said, leaving me open mouthed in shock as he walked away. I turned to face the multitude of cameras in front of me. Emma assumed I knew what to do. I didn't. I decided to channel my inner Jordan and straddled, yes straddled, the nose of the car. I leant forward a little, allowing a generous show of cleavage and flicked my long chocolate brown hair to one side. I revelled in the attention and the shouts of 'love it' and 'give us more'. I moved from leaning forward on the car to leaning back, arching my back and sticking my chest out. I was starting to enjoy this. I decided to change position, sitting on the front right tyre as Seb had done, but with my legs apart and leaning forward. I then straightened my legs out in front of me and leant back a little, letting my hair hang down behind me.

Britta had come out of the garage to see how the photo call was going. She watched as her driver was posing next to Harper, his arm around her waist. He was talking to her, she noticed her give him a surprised look. Once he had finished and Daniel had taken his place he walked over to her to watch the rest of it. They stood quietly observing until Daniel had finished and Harper was posing on her own.
"What did you say to her over there?" Britta asked. Seb immediately grinned.
"I've asked her out."
"Already?!" She was amazed, this was quick work for him.
"I had to make sure that Daniel didn't get in there first." He admitted.
"Seb, it's the girl's first day and the pair of you are around her like.........."
"I like her, there's something about her." He interrupted.
"You barely know her."
"I'm sure I'll know her after tonight." He looked at Britta and winked.
"Just remember you're here to race Sebastian, not to spend your time on your love life." She placed her hand on his shoulder.
"Don't worry, my focus is very much on track." He said, his gaze fixed on Harper.

I've decided to start a new story, I hope you like this one. I will still continue with Just Him ❤ too, this one will help keep my overactive mind busy when I'm not writing it lol! xx
