Remus Lupin: Her Memories

Okay this is another suicide chapter and it's not because I enjoy writing about it. I actually dreamt about this one so I didn't really plan this idea. I'm not exactly proud of it because the dream wasn't exactly clear but I've tried my best to fill in the missing parts. I still hope you enjoy and remember you are all beautiful and special in your own way!

You were standing on the edge while you looked out over the horizon and the lake that was underneath your feet. It was one week since Remus broke up with you and you couldn't be worse. School was a hell but not worse than home. Remus was the only one left in your life but now he was gone too.

Remus watched you from distance. He sat with his friends as he saw you standing on the edge.

"You're starring again" James said.

"How could I not. She's a beauty" Remus sighed.

"Then go and talk to her again" Sirius said.

"I can't. If we're together in anyway I'll stop her from living her life" Remus sighed. "Being a werewolf is a burden"

"Maybe she'll accept you" Peter said. "Like we did"

Remus saw you laying down a rose behind you. At first he was confused. Why is she doing that? Then suddenly he quickly flew up.

"Guys! She's going to jump!" He realised.

James and Sirius were shortly after Remus and Peter took a little longer. They ran towards and tried to reach you but then you jumped.

"Y/n!" Remus screamed as he ran down the edge to the side of the lake and dove in.

It was quite dark. It took him some time until he found you floating under the surface. He quickly grabbed you and pulled you out of the water.

James and Sirius helped him as Peter went away to call for help.

"No no no Y/n?" Remus cried. "Please open your eyes"

But you didn't move or breathe or anything. Suddenly Mcgonagall came towards them.

"What have happened here..." She stopped when she saw your body.

Mcgonagall quickly tried to find any life sign but it was for nothing. A crowd of students started to walk this direction.

"Take her to Madam Pomfrey" Mcgonagall said to Hagrid who just arrived to the place.

Hagrid nodded as he did what he was told. Mcgonagall looked at the four boys.

"Can they save her?" Remus asked. "Is there a way to save her?"

"We'll do our best Lupin" Mcgonagall said with a little shaky voice. "You have to tell me what happened"

They did. Mainly James and Sirius. Remus kept quiet. He had lost you. You tried to take suicide.

"And then she jumped" Sirius finished.

"This is the rose" Peter said holding the last thing you touched. "It says To Remus"

Remus looked up. He took the rose and saw a little fold paper piece one it. He unfolded it and saw three written words with your handwriting.

I love you

There was also a little bottle. A bottle that contained something that looked like a glowing hair. He knew what it was. But he didn't understand why.

"We better get inside" Mcgonagall said. "You have too calm down from the shock"

Remus sat there with the bottle and the rose in his hand. James, Sirius and Peter had gotten inside for a little interrogation. Remus refused. He didn't want to do it. He didn't want this to be true.

He sat outside alone when he suddenly stood up and walked away. He walked past the potion classroom which he saw was empty. Then he took out pensieve and carefully took out the memory.

He carefully put it in the bowl before he dived in.

At first he was dizzy but then he looked around and saw that the memory was about his and your little chats. The memory was very colourful and bright. Remus understood that this was a happy memory.

More and more of this bright memories played and everyone was about your time together. When he asked you out, when you both sat by the lake all your memories together was a happy memory for you.

But suddenly it changed. It lost it's colour and Remus saw how the memory becomes black and white. He saw you and him fighting with each other. It was just a week ago. When he broke up with you.

Remus reached out his hand to touch your cheek and wipe away your tear but he just went through you. Never had Remus missed you so much. Never had the pain been worse.

Suddenly the memory became a blur. He thought that it was the end but there was more. A new memory played up. A memory Remus didn't recognise.

It was late evening and you had just got from detention when you suddenly saw Remus, James, Sirius and Peter sneak in the hallway. You followed them. Curious about what he and his friends was doing.

Remus knew where he was headed. It was full moon and they were heading towards the shrieking shack. He saw how you careful followed his friends into the tunnel.

You saw how your own boyfriend turned into a werewolf and the other three to animagus.
You looked at the scene with wonder before you decided that it was time to head back. But Remus saw a smiled on your face.

Suddenly he was back in the Potion room again. He heard how someone came in and saw Sirius standing there.

"She knew" Remus said as tears rolled down he cheeks. "She knew all this time and she accepted it"

Sirius pulled him into a hug.

"It's my fault" Remus cried. "Everything is my fault"

Sirius didn't say anything but just let Remus have his moment.

One month later Remus was standing by the edge where you died. You were buried near your home but on this edge Remus, James, Sirius and Peter had put a stone and burned in a message for you by magic.

You'll always be loved and remembered

Remus lay down a flower as he had done every week. He missed you incredibly. He often dreamt about you and he promised himself to never forget you.
