"Shin Hye, It's almost time for school" my mom said from the other side of the door after giving a soft knock
"I am almost done mom!" I said out loud for my mother to hear it
"Okay, hurry up" she said before going down stairs, leaving me to prepare some more
Once I was done I went down stairs and greet every house personnel I will walk pass to a very good morning which everyone happily returns.
"Dear, can you tell me again why you always wake up late?" Mom asked as I took a seat in my respective chair in the dining room
"Stuck with tons of homework mom" I said making her sigh
"You know sometimes you had to be a bad kid you know? Try to chill for a bit and forget your homework" dad said with a wide smile on his face
"Don't influence your child like that, you idiot" mom said after hitting dad's arm
"Who are you calling idiot, your husband is a CEO you know" he said making mom roll her eyes playfully
"Just hurry up and eat before the two of you run late" she said and both dad and I nodded, setting all jokes aside
After a few minutes, a thought suddenly came to my mind,
"Oh right, mom dad?" I called out making the two of them look at me
"Jihoon is going to pick me up today and he'll also drive me home later , so can you please tell my driver to rest for today?" I said
"Okay I’ll tell him, don't worry about it" mom replied making me smile
"Is that Jihoon's car outside?" Dad asked making me look outside the window,
It was indeed his car waiting outside with him standing beside it.
"That is him! I guess I have to go now, bye!" I said and took my bag before rushing outside the house
"Jihoon!" I called out as I run towards him grabbing all of his attention.
"Are you standing here for a long time?" I asked while I try me best to catch my breath
"Nope I just arrived actually" he said
"You're not an early bird today huh?" I said after I opened the car door
"Yeah, those assignments got me staying up all night, I mean just look at these eye bags" he said when the both of us are already inside the car
"Guess I’m not alone then" I replied making him look at my face
"Those are some serious eye bags" he said making me slap his arms
"Just go and drive" I said and he let out chuckle before starting the engine.
Soon we arrived at the school and didn't realize that we are pretty much late until I checked the time on my phone
"Jihoon! We're late!" I said and grab his hands, dragging him with me
He didn't even have enough time to place his bag on his shoulders
"Slow down!" he said but if didn't
"Slow down or detention, your choice!" I said and with the mention of detention he run faster than me, and now I was the one getting drag.
Once we arrived in front of our classroom we came to a complete stop and tried to look as normal as possible as if we didn't just run all the way from the parking lot to our building.
But when we entered the room a new student was introducing his self in front of the class
JUNGKOOK'S POV
While I was introducing myself two students entered the classroom making me stop from speaking and the whole class stare at them
"Park Jihoon and Lee Shin Hye mind telling me why the two of you are late" the teacher asked calmly
But what grabbed my attention was the girl named Lee Shin Hye,
I look at her up and down and there i knew it was her, the target.
"We're very sorry ma'am, it's just that the two of us woke up really late and didn't saw the time" she said and it had me all confused.
I didn't knew she had a boyfriend and live on the same house, what clownery is this?
"I'll let this pass for now but I hope this won't happen again next time" the teacher said and two can only nod before going to their seats
"Okay, now that the class is complete, Jungkook you can take a seat on that empty chair next to Shin Hye" she said and I gave her a nod before going to my respective place.
Once I finally got to take a seat I placed my bag beside my desk and look in front ready to listen and get this class over with.
But when I did, the teacher is still busy looking for something on her laptop so instead of doing nothing, I took the chance and look to my left before tapping a random students shoulder
"Why?" The boy asks
"Is Jihoon and Shin Hye dating?" I asked and he snickered
"Dude no, they are best friends like since birth, even their parents are best friends so don't get it wrong because they only see each other as siblings, and most of the time the two of them go to school together so if you see them entering the room like that don't even question it, just let them be" he explained and now it all makes sense for me
Best friends since birth I see, Plan A is still on the line then.
Not wanting to continue any conversation anymore I face front again before giving side glances to Shin Hye trying to watch her every move
"what do you want" she said coldly which caught me of guard

I am indeed a nice girl, but only to those i know truly. So if you see me acting cold then that's my strategy to know what other people's intention of approaching me.
To be honest I want to keep things low for this new guy because he'll be my classmate for a long time but he was giving me this side glances that makes me so uncomfortable, and I can't help but be conscious of his presence
"what do you want" I asked ready to give him some talk
"nothing" he said before looking away
Talk about presence, who even transfer in the middle of the school year...
