JUNGKOOK'S POV
I entered my office and walk to my desk with a cup of coffee in my hand. I took the latest financial report one of my workers pass earlier before I entered the company and reviewed it while facing the big glass pane, where you can see the view of almost the whole city.
The company was actually not originally mine, but it was the property of the Lee's, this company was owned and run by Shin Hye's dad and was about to give it to her, but because she don't think she can do it and thinks I am more capable, we talk things out and decided that I will inherit it. Her parents agreed to it as I studied my way to the business world.
And now I am one of the most well known CEO not just in the country but in the whole world.
I put the papers that are organized in a folder back at my table and returned my gaze back outside again enjoying the coffee.
While looking at the view my secretary entered the room. Holding his folder like always, but this time with bunch of paper works.
"Good morning sir" he greeted as I look at him
"Good morning to you too" I said and he put the paper works at my desk, making a pile.
My secretary was not supposed to be guy but it ended up like that because I told dad, Shin Hye's father that I would like to have a guy as a secretary than a girl to avoid any issues.
"So what's with this papers?" I asked and he sat at one of the chairs that are in front of my desk
"The one in the blue folder are the stock report for these past months, the one in the white folder is the resume of the interns wanting to get a regular job here, that one over there are the ratings from the supervisor who visited weeks ago, and lastly that one that is in cream colored folder is the signed papers from one of our target stock holders" he said naming all of them
I took the cream colored folder and open it to see that it was indeed signed
"So he is finally convinced? I see" I said and my secretary just smiled
"Oh by the way" he said opening his phone
"He set a meeting" he said completing his sentence
"What time?" I asked as I sat at my chair
"Well the only vacant time is 8:00 pm, and he said he was fine with it" he said and I nodded
"That means I will be going home late again" I said looking really problematic
"Won't Mrs. Jeon get angry?" he asked and I looked at him before smiling
"Trust me, I always thought she will get angry but she understands me and has a lots of patience, the sad thing though is that she waits for me every night and I feel sorry for her. Seeing her waiting for me at the sofa trying not to sleep even though she was tired from taking care of the kids" I said then sighed
"Mrs. Jeon is indeed a great wife isn't she?" he said and I nodded proudly
"Greater than anyone else" I said smiling
"Oh well, I don't want to make her wait right? What are my schedules today? Let's see if we can finish all early and move the meeting to 6:00" I said trying to go home earlier today
"So today morning you have to guide the interns and tell them the protocols, also the salary you need to inform the bank and our financial assistant, at lunch you have a lunch meeting with one of the worker from Mr. Nam's company, then in the afternoon you also have to go check the computers at the computer room then pick the new designs for our new project then at the evening meeting with our new share holder" he said and I tried to think of what to do
"What time was everything supposed to start?" I asked and he look at his watch
"9:30 am sir" he said
"What time is it now?" I asked
"9:00" he said and I stood up
"Maybe I can start early to finish early too right?" I asked and he nods
I walk out of my office with my secretary and was about to walk to the place of our interns when my phone vibrated
"Wait a second" I said and he nods as I took my phone out
LOVELY IDIOTS
A group reminder: today is the group lunch, don't forget. We plan this so much so don't forget!
"Shit" I said after remembering that we are going to meet up with the group today
"Why sir?" my secretary asked
"Can you do the discussion of protocols for me? Also as for the bank just inform our financial assistant to do it for me okay? Kindly cancel and move the lunch tomorrow, for the computers get the technicians for it and I'll talk to them tomorrow then the designs send pictures to me, for the meeting with our new share holder kindly move it tomorrow too" I said going back to my office as my secretary followed behind me
"May I know why sir?" he asked as I took off my blazer
"Private reasons, let's say I am going to meet some friends" I said putting on a coat
"Now I'll trust you okay? I need to go now" I said and he nods
I run out the office and to the elevator I rushed, I press the ground floor button and luckily no one was inside except me. Once I arrived at the lobby I run to the parking and find my car.
I entered inside and start the engine and drive back home. Once I arrived, I saw a unfamiliar car outside but I just shrug it off and entered the house.
"Shin Hye?" I called out walking up the stairs
"Yes?!" in heard her yell from our room so I immediately run there and check up on what was she doing
"What are you doing?" I asked
"Dressing up?" she said
"Oh so you knew?" I asked
"Yeah I just received the notification" she said while brushing her hair
I went and stand next to her as she sat in front of the mirror
"By the way, whose car was that in front of our house?" I asked and she sighed
"Jihoon" she said and I was shock
"New car again?" I asked and she nods
"Hey Kook!" I heard someone yelled from the door and when I turn to look, I saw Jihoon carrying Jungshin and beside him was Shijung
"Bro" I said as I gave him a fist bomb
"What's with the new car?" I asked and he shrugs
"Guess I am too lonely so I buy lots of car" he said and I heard Shin Hye chuckle
"Still not going to replace her huh?" Shin Hye asked and Jihoon nods
"Shin Hye-ah are you ready?" I asked her as I saw her finish her hair up
"Yes" she said
"Oh well you two get out now" Jihoon said to the both of us
"What about the kids?" I asked
"That's why I am here, duh" he said and I look at him amused
"Now get out" he said again and Shin Hye laughed as Jihoon push as out of our own house
"This is still our house Jihoon" Shin Hye joked
"I don't care" He said and shut the door
"That dimwit" I said and Shin Hye chuckled
"Well let's go?" she asked and I sighed
"Yep" I said and intertwine our fingers together as we walk to our car.
