Jimin was sat staring out his window, like any other night. It had been the same for as long as he could remember and it was one of the few things he actually found comfort it.
It made him feel safe.
He spent a lot of time looking out of that window reminiscing almost every night on his memories from growing up in the home.
Jimin's life wasn't bad but it wasn't good either; he had been in care ever since he was little but it hadn't been that bad and Jimin knew it could've been worse.
He always kept that in mind.
Jimin didn't remember his parents as they'd died under mysterious circumstances just after he was born, which was dark but offered closure which some of the other children he met never got.
It was sad not knowing them but Jimin was a self proclaimed optimistic and focused on the positives (which he told himself existed.)
He managed to get a good education as he managed to get on a course trying to improve stereotypes of people in care by going to a prestigious school, which had its downsides due to bullying... but he still made it threw.
He had a roof over his head and food on the table with a group of interesting people around him constantly , even though they typically stayed to themselves.
And the best part he focused on most, he had no ties, no restraints.
Freedom.
After he turned sixteen he could leave at any point and had a few years to find out where he wanted to go - not that he particularly tried to.
Instead he just carried on looking out of his window and watching the forest and moon which backed onto the orphanage.
The place which wasn't home, but it'd do.
His orphanage and place of residence for a whole seventeen years.
The same place he had some of his best and worst memories;

"Park Jimin, if you don't come over here now you can stay out here with that wolf!"
"Wolf? Is that a type of doggie?"
"Ji- Ugh- Come here Jiminie. Please just listen to Mr Han and be a good boy. I wouldn't actually leave you out here with it so please come here. Slowly and calmly..."
"Oki- umm... Mr Han~ We gotta pwoblem."
"Yah! Let go of his sleeve you mutt!"
Mr Han went forward with a stick and swatted it off of Jimin as it growled and prepared to attack.
Before it could a larger wolf picked the pup up and ran away with it.

"That. Was. Pawsome."
"Of course you'd get yourself into a predicament and make a pun out of it. Your only four you should be scared of things like that. Your a smart boy Jimin but you should learn not to approach wild animals- ESPECIALLY NOT AT NIGHT!"
"Sowwy Mr Han~ I couldn't sleep."
"Jeez this kid. You have me wrapped around your little finger like the rest of them. Let's go get you back up in bed before you become wolf food."
