After a few more hours of moping over Jimin, Yoongi finally left his den only to be met with the smiling face of the boy who was behind the reason of his sour mood.
Jin was feeding him food as Hoseok pinched his cheeks and Taehyung and Jungkook played with his hair, Namjoon having a casual conversation with the other as it went on.
And it was safe to say Yoongi was mad.
He turned around instantly to go back into his den and go back to moping but before he could re-enter he was called by Hoseok.
"YOOOOOONGIIIIIIIIIIII~"
Yoongi turned to him with his face deadpan and monotonously replied "Hoseok." making the other gulp and say "n-nothing." knowing not to mess with Yoongi when he's in a mood.
Sadly that was something Taehyung still hadn't learned.
"Come sit with us hyung~ Jimin is super nice and cuddly and cute and not a threat so no need to be all grumpy~" He said with a chuckle at the end as he smiled at the elder, completely unfazed by Yoongi's cold glare.
Yoongi didn't want to come across as unreasonable so he went over and sat down, but his mood didn't lift at all and he didn't speak.
It was obvious everyone was nervous except for Jimin who was deep in thought.
Something about Yoongi seemed familiar too him but he couldn't figure out what.
And before he could Jin gasped and said "Jiminie! We should be getting you home now! It's not safe to travel much later than this which is why the other will return really shortly. Come on Me and... Jungkook will walk you back."
Everyone awed and Hoseok purposely hugged onto Jimin in hopes of stopping him from leaving but when Jin gave him a knowing look the other let go.
Jimin stood up and bowed at the six saying "Thank you for having me, I hope to see you all again at some point." then he left with his hand being held by Jin, leading the way back with Jungkook sadly following behind.
The walk back was quick but also sad with none of them saying anything and Jimin had to admit leaving felt really tough on him but he didn't know why.
Eventually they arrived back at the orphanage and shared parting goodbyes before Jimin set them off saying "Safe travels." and going inside.
That's when he realised it.
He left his phone.
When he ran outside to call them back to tell them, they were gone.
