Gumballs POV :
"That you're gay?" I can feel my cheeks turning A darker shade of pink.
" Um.." Marshall trails off. Our eyes meet for a moment, but then he looks away.
Why did I have to ask such a stupid question? He was getting to that.look at how awkward you've made this boy feel.
After a few seconds of silence marshall returns his eyes too mine.
"Yeah," he cheeks flush into a vibrant, bright pink. He looks away.
I'm shocked. My heart is beating out of my chest. I didn't expect him to say yes. I thought It all was just a rumor.
"Really?" I whisper to him.
"Really." His voice shakes a little as he answers me. But he still doesn't know I'm gay. I still need to come out to him. But I can't do it now, or else he'll know I like him.but maybe he likes me back.
"I just.. It's just that I told Fionna, and then she told every- er - everyone."
I've never heard Marshall sound that afraid and nervous before. But Fuonna. She seemed like such a nice girl.
"And flame prince.. He.." Marshall lets out a soft whimper.
"Marshall.." He suddenly leans into me and sobs. I hug him back and stroke his black hair." Marshall I'm sorry."
