Nico's POV

"Nico... Nico!" Mmmm. My vision was flooded with light as I slowly opened my eyes. And I saw Will. I smiled to myself. He's so beautiful. "Nico!" I heard a sing-song voice calling my name. I groggily lifted my head up. "Huh?" Hazel was looking down at me and Will smiling, and was apparently the one calling me. I looked at her. I looked at Will. Will. I made my arms give out, and collapsed back onto the bed next to my boyfriend. I couldn't be bothered.

Hazel laughed at my laziness, a lovely ringing sound that filled the room to the edges, and instantly made everything seem lighter. "Nico!" Hazel's voice said cheerily, and I felt the bed shift underneath me as she sat down. "Neeks." She got up and walked around the bed so our heads were in line with each other. I glared at her. She rolled her eyes as I flipped over and continued to hug Will. I felt his body shift as he woke up and wrapped his arms around me. A scruffy face dug into my hair and I felt him kiss the top of my head. "Morning sunshine." he said sleepily. I heard Hazel sigh. "Fine. Will, we need to be at breakfast soon. Wake up your boyfriend for me, would ya?" I groaned and buried my head in Will's chest. It's too early to get up. What's the point. We're gonna talk with the gods after lunch again.

"Nico, time to get up." said Will softly in my ear. I just groaned and opened my eyes to find myself eye to eye with the son of Apollo. His blue eyes were glittering hypnotically in the morning light, and he was smiling mysteriously. I screwed up my nose. "No." I closed my eyes again and rolled to the other side. The bed shifted as Will wrapped his arms around me. I smiled as I took in his warmth. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and laid his face on top of mine. I felt my face start to heat up, and I knew I was almost blushing. Stupid son of Apollo. I loved him.

"Nico!" He whispered shaking me slightly. "We have to get up." I just hugged him, smiling into his chest. "No." I said closing my eyes again. I felt Will move away from me and I opened my eyes again. He was looking at me curiously. "What?" I said almost defensively. He smiled suddenly. And started to tickle me.

I shrieked and immediately started to laugh and try push his hands off my stomach. I failed obviously. "Will! Stop it!" I said laughing, as he dug his fingers into my stomach. "Will seriously! I can't breath!" He finally stopped, leaving me gasping from breath. I sat up, and crossed my arms over my stomach. Will sat up too, and took to staring at me instead. I avoided his gaze for a while, but then I turned to him and smiled at the expression on his face. "What?" I asked him. He smiled and kissed me gently. "Your gorgeous when you laugh, you know that?" I blushed.

The two of us walked into the dining hall to find Hazel and Piper having a discussion, about us apparently. We walked over and sat down. "You can't tell me that they aren't cute!" "Yeah I know, but you can't rush them you know." said Hazel swallowing a mouthful of porridge. "What are you talking about?" said Will sitting down next to me and buttering a slice of toast. "Oh, nothing. What took you guys so long?" asked Piper looking at us curiously. I glared at Will.

"Oh nothing." said Will smirking back at me. "Only the fact that Nico's super ticklish." Piper grinned at me. "Is he now?" She said. She was plotting something. I knew it. "Yup." He said taking a bite of toast. I sighed and turned to Hazel.

"Anything interesting happen yet?" I asked her popping a grape into my mouth. Hazel shrugged. "Not really. I'd give it a few minutes." I nodded and focused on my breakfast. We sat there making small talk for a while, but then Piper sighed. "What's taking them so long? You don't think somethings wrong, do you?" her tone turned anxious almost instantaneously.

Will put down his spoon quietly and sighed. "Their coming." he said fiddling with the hem of his shirt. Sure enough, the door burst open. And in came four very angry gods.

"Hello demigods. We didn't want to do this, but apparently Hecate decided now was the right time to tell you about your quest!" said Apollo angrily glaring at the dark-haired goddess. Hecate just rolled her eyes. "It is the right time. The rest of you might want to take it slow, but i they are to be prepared for their quest sufficiently, they need to know." Her polecat chittered in agreement.

Aphrodite huffed. "I think personally, that all of you are wrong. We should have told them ages ago!" She said throwing her hands up and turning her nose up at the other gods. "We couldn't have told them everything, Athena might have been able to get to them." said my father tiredly rubbing his forehead.

"Whoa whoa whoa. Tell us about the quest? What?" said Piper sounding confused. This question seemed to remind the gods that we were still here. Stupid gods. How can you forget we're here if your literally having a conversation about us? Aphrodite let out a sigh. "Your quest isn't very... it isn't a normal quest." she began uncomfortably. "You will have to be sent to a particular place, and it's likely that all of the events of your quest will happen there." she said sounding defeated.

"A castle." said Will. "With four giant hourglasses?" Hecate nodded. "Long ago, I blessed a few people with magic powers. These chosen few eventually developed into a race of magic-performing mortals, and in turn, there would be conflicts. Soon enough, people with this power started to pop up everywhere! I guess some of the spirit of the blessing had leaked. There was a war regarding these seemingly normal mortals that had developed powers, and the race had almost died out. Then I decided that it would be safer to wipe their memory of the gods, and in turn, restart their thinking. A few still harbor a grudge though. This castle you'll be going to is a school to educate the young of this race. You'll learn more about it later." Oh. So that's why Apollo had been talking about Witches and Wizards.

"Your goal at this school is to find the other chosen ones and also find a particular object for me. Again, you'll be properly briefed later." Wait what?
