HEY!!!!!!!!!!

So I've decided to cut to the chase. I'm sure you'll be glad. I know that the last chapter sucked, (Believe me I know) and I know I just wrote 25 chapters of prep. I'm such a lemon.

Anyway.....

I DON'T OWN HEROES OF OLYMPUS OR HARRY POTTER!!!!!!!!!

J.K and Rick do. And that's all that needs to be said. Also, does anyone else get bored of writing that every time? It certainly isn't innovative in any way. Like at all. Aside from my laziness...

ON WITH THE STORY THAT'S FINALLY GONNA MOVE ALONG BECAUSE I'VE FINALLY DECIDED TO SUCK IT UP!!!!!!

............

Will's POV

"Petrificus Totalus?"
"Um..." I wracked my brain for an answer. "Leg locking?" I looked over at Nico, who sighed. "Nope. Full body bind." he said flipping through a book of charms. "What about expecto patromun?" Uh.... I KNEW THIS ONE! "Patronus charm." I said confidently. Nico laughed. "Of course you'd remember that one." he said rolling his eyes. I smiled. "Duh! Everyone remembers that one!"

"He's right." said Piper from the girls side of the room. "That ones seriously cool." Hazel nodded in agreement. The four of us were in our ... sleeping quarters? Bedroom? I dunno. Anyway, we were in our room after our last magic lesson. In the past week Hecate had brought us up to speed on the curses, enchantments and various other spells we'd need when we went to Hogwarts, which was the name of a magic school in England. If I hadn't been given a wand, I might have thought that Hecate was kidding.

"Okay, your turn Hazel." said Nico turning around to face his sister. "Try me." she said smirking. Out of all of us, Hazel was definitely the best at memorizing spells. We were all equally good at doing them, but when it came to remembering the wand movements, Hazel bet us all.

"Okay, Accio."
"Summoning charm."
"Wingarduim Leviosa"
"Levitation."
"Sectumsempra."
"A curse that will injure the opponent gravely. Not to be used unless it's a emergency."

Nico continued to through spells at his sister, who answered with the same efficiency. Piper and I exchanged looks. The two of them had gotten even closer, if that was even possible.

After a few minutes of this back-and-forth bickering, Piper decided to intervene. "How do you memorize spells like that? I couldn't remember the wand movement for Homenum Reveleo today."

"Simple." replied the frizzy haired girl. "Most of the spells are in Latin - really really bad Latin-" she added. "But it's still Latin. So I can mostly understand it. It makes it easier."
"I speak Latin too." said Nico swinging his legs over the side of the bed. "But it's still difficult for me." He had a point. "Besides." I added standing up. "We don't really have a choice. I'm gonna see whether I can find a book on the History of Magic." I heard a groan come from Nico's bed. "You're choosing to read that stuff?" said Nico staring up at me. " I almost fell asleep listening to Hecate!" I offered him my hand. "Well it sounds like you need some help too."

I scanned the bookshelves in our common room for a book on the History of Magic. Hats, Hagrid - odd name -, Hickory the Great, History of Magic!

"Got it." I said pulling the dust coated book from the shelf. I walked over to the couch, where Nico was and sat down. He peered over my shoulder. "Bathilda Bagshot?"  Nico raised an eyebrow. I rolled my eyes and turned toward him. "The guy we're aiming to kill's called Voldemort. What did you expect?" I asked leaning back. He groaned as I opened up the large volume and proceeded to scan the contents.

"It's pronounced Voldemor" said a snarky voice from the doorway. "It means flight of death." said Piper walking toward us. Nico snorted. "Keep going and we might classify you as smart Piper." She stuck out her tongue at my boyfriend. I shot a look at Hazel -who'd just come in-, who returned it eagerly. Take it from the bi guy, Nico and Piper were both hot, but they could act so stupid.

"Anyway, what'cha got there Will?" asked Hazel walked up behind me. "A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot."

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that one of our course books?" asked Pipe furrowing her eyebrows. I turned it over, and sure enough, on the back was a sticker saying Florish and Blotts.  "What is it with these guys and the weird names!" said Nico leaning into me with an exasperated tone. I could almost hear Piper rolling her eyes. "Got a problem Niccolo?" "Hey! I did not give you permission to use my first name!" "Well Nico can be counted as your first name!" I sighed, and watched the argument unfold. Why did I think I'd get a moment of peace?

"Hey Will," I turned around to look at a seemingly annoyed Hazel. "Mind if I talk to you for a second?" I immediately placed the book between the arguing demigods and joined Hazel as she walked out of the common room door.

The moment I closed the door behind me, I was greeted by the sound of sweet sweet silence. I sighed. Those two had been at each others necks more than ever recently. "Wanna go to the music room?" suggested Hazel. I nodded and followed her down the hallway. I examined the white bone pillars. I hadn't noticed it at first, but they were scenes of death carved into them. I shuddered.

"Creepy right?" said Hazel smiling at me. "Yup. Almost all the hallways in this castle are creepy." We turned a corner and walked deeper through the maze that was Hades's palace. It was huge, dark, and creepy, but the four of us had somehow managed to navigate the place during our stays. After the first few months, we hadn't even needed Nico's help anymore.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked the golden-eyed girl. "Nothing." said Hazel absentmindedly. "I just thought you might want to get away from them for a while." "Yeah." I said gratefully, but I was also a little bit creeped out. I swear that girl could read minds.

"So," she said breaking the silence. "When are you gonna propose to Neeks?" WAIT WHAT?! " U I-I-I'm " I stuttered caught off guard. I had already kinda proposed, hadn't I? I-I mean, promise rings? What? What did I say? AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I felt my ankle roll underneath me, and soon enough I ended up with a face full of godly flooring.

I groaned and heard Hazel musical laugh as I rolled over to face the ceiling. My view of the centuries old oak was obstructed by a smiling face with frizzy hair. "Relax!" said Hazel helping me up. "I was joking!" she said beaming while I brushed myself off. "But seriously. If you hurt my brother, you die. Nico's been hurt too many times already. And I am not letting it happen again." she said with a deathly serious tone. I smiled, and let out a small chuckle. "What? Do think I'm joking?" asked Hazel raising her voice. I looked up at the daughter of Pluto

"First of all, I'm sure that you're just looking out for Nico, But seriously? I love Nico! I'd never intentionally hurt him. Also, we're soulmates in case you'd forgotten. And I've kind of already proposed remember?" I held up my hand to show her the silver ring that was on my finger. "I know you're just worried about him, but honestly. I'm not planning on hurting Nico." I said looked down at the dark-haired girl. She deflated under my gaze, and mumbled a soft sorry. I smiled.

"Not a problem. Anyway, I'm assuming that's what you wanted to talk about?" She nodded. "Hey." I gave her a soft punch on the shoulder. "Don't sweat it. I'd do the same if it were one of my siblings." I turned around and lead the way back to our common room. We entered the room in silence, and seeing that Nico wasn't there, I went straight to the.... sleeping room? Seriously, what do we call this?

I walked in and saw Nico lying down on my bed, so I went to join him. "Hey Neeks." I got a tired grunt in reply. "Why so tired?" I asked wrapping my arms around his waist. He groaned and turned into me, burying his head in my chest. "I tried reading that book you found." I chuckled. "That bad?" I asked playing with his hair. "Yup. I dunno how we're gonna survive this school if we have to listen to some teacher drone on about that all year. Piper agrees with me." he said simply, as though that settled it. "Wow! You guys managed to agree on something?" I teased. Nico's hand clamped over my mouth. "Shut up pretty boy." I blushed.
