HEY!!!!!!!

So I'm an idiot. I dunno why. I didn't do anything... but I feel like an idiot. So this is short. And yeah.

Meseidő!

..............

Nico's POV

Will's face fell. "Oh no. Nope. That is not ideal." he said frowning. I groaned and fell back onto the slightly scratchy infirmary pillows.
"That's why Aphrodite wanted me to help you with your nightmares." said Will sounding downcast. I turned toward his voice and smiled at the pouting son of Apollo.
"Relax. Chances are someone else will have really bad nightmares too. She said something about students being tortured, remember?"
"Unfortunately." he said as he pulled out a vial of unicorn draught and began fiddling with it.

"Maybe in Slytherin, but what about us?" said Piper doubtfully. "Ravenclaw's are supposed to be wise. I think they'll stay within the limits." Hazel sat up.
"Yeah, but something tells me this You-Know-Who guy isn't exactly fair."

"Be quiet!" spat a furious Madam Pomfrey. Hazel looked at her bewildered.
"But-"
"But nothing! Do any of you have any idea how dangerous this is!" she hissed as she walked closer to us.

"Uh, no offense, but I really didn't think you'd support him." I said staring at her. She looked at me livid. "I do not support him! I'm merely pointing out that speaking so badly about him out in the open can result in catastrophic consequences!" she whisper-shouted. Then in a second all the fire drained out of her. She sighed, smoothing out her immaculate apron in the middle of a silent room. "You don't understand." she whispered. "He's not your average villain. He's performed horrors that even the most advanced minds thought impossible..." she shuddered rubbing her bare arms.

"Moving on, this was in your pocket." she said handing me a envelope. My eyes widened as I stared down at the parchment. Hecate's letter! I looked up at Madam Pomfrey immediately suspicious. "You didn't read it, did you?" She shook her head.
"You're lucky no-one did. Just so you're aware, all contact between students and the outside world is being watched. Letters are being read, and chances are the floo network is too." She smiled a sad smile and then retreated to her office. As soon as she closed the door the others were at my side.

"From Hecate, right?" whispered Hazel, here molten eyes widening. I nodded. I slipped a my fingernail under the flap, and slowly pried the heavy paper open.

Dear Demigods,

I hope you are well- Piper snorted- and have managed to get into the castle. From here on there are a few things you must remember. About finding more chosen ones, that was a lie. If I had told the gods the truth, they would have had my head. You are tasked with finding a horcrux- wait a minute, I think dad mentioned those once. Oh geez, this isn't going to be easy.- which I'm sure Nico can explain to you later about. I haven't figured out a way we'll be able to communicate without the wizards knowing yet, but I'll send a dream your way when I do.

"But why can't we just communicate through dreams?" asked Will, his brow furrowing. I shrugged. "They're gods. They can't stand doing things the easy way."

You must attend your classes as usual, but they're going to be more different than I anticipated. If you do see anything unjust happening, leave it alone and keep your head down. You mustn't be noticed.

You might have found out by now that you'll be sleeping in dorms. There is, of course, the problem of your nightmares, but there are certain steps you can take to conceal them. There is a potion you can take for a dreamless sleep, but it is difficult to brew and it would be a challenge to keep it's creation a secret. It might not work on you seeing as your demigods, and have an overactive conscience, but it should stop lesser nightmares. Another thing you can do is cast a muffliato spell around your bed while you sleep. This obviously won't prevent the problem of sight, but it'll give you the chance of waking up before they do.

As for the horcrux, I'll give you more information of it's whereabouts later. According to the ghost of Albus Dumbledore it has something to do with the underworld. "I could talk to him later..." I mumbled. "What?" "Nothing." I said hastily. I knew for a fact that sunshine Solace would definitely not approve of me doing magic so soon after the dementors. But for now, keep your head down and do as your told. Remember, you aren't war-hardened demigods, your scared students.

Regards, Hecate.

I exchanged glances with Will as the girls finished reading. "Weird. I know." he said resting his head in his hands. A whistle from Piper told me she'd finished the letter too. Hazel looked up at us and sighed, blowing a strand of frizzy hair from in front of her face.

"So, it doesn't solve all our questions, but at least we have some insight into the situation, right?" I frowned. Wait, so we're told we're looking for someone, we end up being tricked, are sent to a school where we almost got killed before we even entered, AND HECATE JUST EXPECTED US TO GO WITH IT????

"Uh, Neeks?" I looked at Will, who was staring at my fist nervously. I looked down and saw I'd crushed the letter. I chuckled, and chucked the letter violently onto the bedspread.

"Is everything okay in here?" We looked over to the door, where Silena, Divani and Cayden. "You're okay!"

The next thing we knew, Divani had us all trapped in a hug, and was fussing over us. "What happened? You kinda just collapsed! We had to tell McGonagle. Hazel looked like she was crying, Will was twitching, and you two were yelling, and it was terrifying!" She said with a crazed look in her eyes. Cayden chuckled. "Let them breath Dee." he said drawing up a chair. "Sorry about that. She's kind of the mom friend." he said smiling. Divani pouted, but then smiled. "Hell yeah I am."

Silena looked at us worried. "That's what you meant by you'd react badly... isn't it." she said carefully. Hazel and Will nodded, while I stared at the bed.
"We won't ask you about them. Relax." said Divani drawing up a chair as well. Silena frowned. "Well I might. But if it's getting too intrusive, just tell me." I shot a look at the brown haired girl.

"Neeks! No need to be so hostile." said Will disapprovingly. I adverted my gaze.

"So. When are you guys getting out of here?" asked Cayden fiddling with his wand.
"Tomorrow." said Hazel simply. "I'll be glad to leave." Piper chuckled.
"I won't be. We get heaps of chocolate!" I laughed at her smile, and so did Will. I found the other three staring at me. "What?" asked Will.
"Nothing much, it's just that we didn't really see you as much of a laugher Nico." said Divani grinning. I scowled at her before leaning back into Will. She clapped her hands together.

"You two are so cute!"
