HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DOES ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER THIS SONG? CAUSE I DO AND I LOVE IT. Sorry about how slow this book is moving, for some reason I love writing really slow burn fanfiction. 😆 Also, I died when I saw this fanart. SO CUTE!!!! I know this is irrelevant, but the last chapter had 1515 words, and I just found that really satisfying. :)

So this note has been wrapped up,
There's nothing else to say.
Thank you for the reads,
Have a lovely day!

*Awkward Silence*

Well that happened. Sorry. *even more awkward silence*

*Hastily*ON WITH THE STORY!

.............................

Nico's POV

I looked around the dark room nervously. I'd never seen it before. If I had to match it to something, I'd say one of the tunnels in the House of Hades. It had dirt walls and a stone floor, almost like a cave, and was pretty much bare. Weird. I looked down at the outline of my feet. Was the floor even stable? I stepped forward cautiously, and the sound reverberated around the chamber loudly. A shiver went down my spine, but I took another step. And another.

Huh. I suppose the room is relatively stable. I squinted into the darkness. There wasn't any sign of the other side of the room -just black. I exhaled, and my breath misted in the air ahead of me. I frowned. I wasn't really cold....

"Nico!" I gasped, and whirled around in the darkness.
"Who's there?" A harsh light flooded the chamber, and my arms sprung up in front of my eyes instantaneously.

"Nico, you need to listen to me." said the voice again. It was deep and scratchy. Gah, who was it? I know I've heard it before... but where?

"Nico," The voice became muffled. I frowned, and strained my ears. "-the styx-" What? Were they talking about the plan?

Suddenly a crumbling sound filled by senses, and I stared at the ground, horrified. A large crack was spreading from the light, and crawling across the floor ominously. I yelped and stumbled backwards. Suddenly I was bathed in darkness. My head shot up and I stared at where the light was before.

"W-what the..." A large tremor made me gasp, and I stared down at the floor. Oh gods, this isn't good, oh-

"Nico!"
"Gah!" I shot up in bed, panting. What the hell was that all about? W-what about the floor? Panicked thoughts clouded my mind. Where was I falling to again? The guy said something about the Styx, does that mean our plan is gonna fail? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!???

"Nico, I need you to calm down, okay sweetheart?" A warmth washed over me as I recognised the familiar voice. I forced myself to pace my breathing and wrenched my eyes open. The sight of the Slytherin dorm flooded my vision. I sighed, and registered a weight on both my shoulders. Will's hands.

I turned toward the voice and saw a pair of worried sky-blue eyes watching me.
"Are you alright?" asked Will removing his hands. I felt myself shudder from the loss of warmth, but I nodded. Will frowned. "Wanna talk about it?" I shook my head, then leaned onto Will's shoulder and closed my eyes. I heard him sigh, and then he wrapped his hands around me.

"Are you sure you're okay, Neeks?"
"Yeah." I mumbled, nuzzling into him. AND BEFORE YOU GO COOING, I WAS TIRED OKAY? And Will's really warm...

"Neeks?"
"Hm?"
"Are you sure you're okay?" Wasn't this like the third time he's asked me? My eyebrows drew together, and I pulled myself away from his frowning.
"Yeah. Is something wrong?" Will looked away from he uncomfortably.

"It's just that you haven't had a nightmare for a while now... and you were kinda whimpering..." I chuckled, and took Will's hand.
"Chill, Will. I'm fine." I said smiling at him. "It was a bit of a weird dream, but I'll tell you at breakfast along with the others." I said yawning. "I'm too tired right now." Will smiled, and yawned.

"Okay, goodnight, Deathboy." I rolled my eyes at the nickname, but smiled anyway.
"Night, Solace."

....................

"Will? Nico!" I groaned, and opened my eyes blearily. I swear I fell asleep two seconds ago.

"What?" whined Will from next to me, rolling over and burying his head in his pillow. The brown-haired boy standing above us laughed. Oh. Must be Carter.

We'd become acquainted with the other boys in our dorm about one week after we'd arrived at Hogwarts. There was Jayden, who we'd met first. He had green eyes and black hair, just like Percy. Oh gods, Percy. I'll never understand why I liked him. I mean, he's smart and all, but Annabeth and Percy were made for each other. That much was clear. He was also a chaser on the Slytherin quidditch team.

Then there was Carter, who'd just rudely woken us up. He had light brown hair, freckles, -they weren't as cute as Will's though- and light hazel eyes with specks of gold in them. We were friends with him, but he stuck with Michael, our other roommate, for the most part. Michael was quiet, kind of like Selena was before we got to know her. He was a bookworm with dirty blond hair, blue eyes and wore square black-rimmed glasses.

"You guys have to get up, we have Arithmancy, and you know how strict Vector is about tardiness." he laughed, rubbing the back of his head. I yawned, and sat up.

"Morning to you too." I said reaching over to my side-table and grabbing my rings. The brunette scoffed, and walked over to us.

"Do you seriously put those on first thing in the morning?" he said gesturing down at my rings. I nodded, and attempted to climb out of bed.
"No! Don't leave meeee!" said Will sleepily. He then proceeded to wrap his freckle-covered arms around my waist and rest his head on my lap. I scoffed, and poked his cheek.

"Wake up, Solace."
"Nope." I sighed.
"You two are adorable." said Michael from the other side of the dorm, tying his black shoes.

I felt my face heat up -and out of habit, switched my gaze to my bare feet. I heard Michael laugh.
"What? It's true." Noises of agreement echoed around the dark room, making my chuckle. "Anyway, you guys should get up soon." said Jayden fixing his hair in the silver-framed mirror above his side-table. Will sat up beside me and yawned.

"'Kay. How long do we have?"
"Uh," Carter looked down at his watch. "About 25 minutes until breakfast starts."
"I'm heading to the library." said Michael picking up his backpack. "Bye." I waved at the blond's back as he walked out the door.

"Will?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm gonna miss this place when we leave."
Will gave me a tired smile.
"I have a feeling we'll be gone soon." he said glumly as he stood up. "I wouldn't recommend getting too attached.

I frowned as he walked into the bathroom. I guess he does have the power of prophecy. I turned to look at one of the pictures on the wall. Well, better get going.
