I looked down and saw the fast approaching earth. Falling to my death was certainly not what I expected to be doing today. If I had the energy I think I would re-enact the ‘I’m too young to die’ scene but the gust of wind that passed me as I fell kept me in my place.

Now was about the time in the fairy tale where the knight in shining armour would come riding up on his white horse and save the damsel in distress – but what the hell was a knight in shining armour going to do anyways? I was falling; he probably couldn’t even catch me!

But this wasn’t a fairy tale and I am not a damsel in distress… I just couldn’t find a way to get out of this one.

I felt the air rush out of my lungs and my eyes start to become heavy as I started to slip into unconsciousness. I was glad that I wouldn’t be awake to feel my face coiled with the hard ground. Isn’t this the moment where my life was supposed to flash before my eyes like a film? No? What about now?... now? now...
