That was the name my mother christianed me at birth. After a teenage poet in her favorite book. The name is suppose to mean, "one who is ready for war" I think it was her way of trying to creating a charm to protect me. And I've silently chewed on that name as if I could crack the tough skin and get that burst of courage I need, that girl in the book is always ready to let her fists do the talking and I've gotten in a fight maybe once or twice in my life. Not that I'm not ever angry, because I always am, but just that it feels private and I don't need to be up in people's faces about it. Ready for war? I'd more likely hide. And who needs to battle when they've got a knight like mine?
