Maddie was a 18 year old girl who was sent to a mental hospital because she has PTSD, (post traumatic stress disorder).
Her parent weren't home one day and left her all alone at their house. Someone broke in and raped her, beat her, and almost killed her before her parent got back home and the invader left. Leaving her with ptsd and bad memories.
She started having anxiety attacks and she started isolating her self from social interactions. Once her parents got fed up with her being like this, they sent her away to a mental hospital. Where she has been for the last 6 years.
This place, she calls home because this place protects her.
