The motel smelled terrible, but you and Sake managed to eventually get a decent sized room with a bathroom that looked disgusting. The springs in the bed were poking into you when you sat down, so you knew you wouldn't be getting much sleep. It was still the middle of the night though, so you were exhausted and so was Sake. You both climbed into your beds and said good night. When the lights were turned off, you all of a sudden felt like a child; intimidated by the darkness as if monsters were lurking in the dark. You closed your eyes and tried to sleep, but sleep didn't come. Fifteen minutes later, you heard shuffling on the floor, and then you felt something warm pressing against your back. You opened your eyes and rolled over to see Sake staring right at you. You gave her a confused look. She wrapped her arms around your waist.
"It's okay. I'll sleep with you so you don't get scared." She said, pulling you into a hug. After that, you started to fall asleep.
