The next day you walked into school, people whispering. Alya ran up to you. "(Y/N), how could you not tell me you were peacock?"

"Secret identity Alya. I would have told you if I could. Cat Noir didn't even know." You smiled at her as the two of you walked into class.

When you set down your stuff you heard the class go silent. "(Y/N)..." You turned and saw Cat Noir. Your face lit up and you ran over to him. You went for a hug but he retreated.

"Cat?" He walked past you a bit and you turned to face his back.

"I've come here to talk to you about something important." You swallowed and let him talk. "How could you hide from me that you were peacock?"

"I had to, you know just as I do that we aren't allowed to share our identities." You protest.

"You kept it from me that you were my girlfriend."

"Why didn't you tell me who you were?" You try to deflect it back onto him.

"I thought my girlfriend was just a student, you actually knew I was a hero. I don't think I'll be seeking you out anymore." You pretend to look sad.

"What are you saying Cat?"

"I'm breaking up with you (Y/N)..." With that Cat Noir ran out of the room. You dropped down to your knees, trying to display a distraught demeanor. And like that Adrien ran in, and over to you.

"(Y/N), what's wrong? What happened?" He quickly drops down to you and starts hugging you.

"Cat Noir just dumped her..." Chloe muttered. Everyone was shocked with the show you had put on.

"Come on, let's go talk about this somewhere else." You hug him tightly as the two of you walk out and into the janitors closet. Like that the waterworks stop.

"Did they buy it?" You whisper to him.

"I think so." You both smile and share a quick kiss.

"So, how long should we sit here? How long should I be crying for?" You contemplate. "What's a normal amount of crying after a break up?"

"We could just say I helped you realize you don't know him?" You both nod and walk back to class.

You sniffle a bit, and give your eyes one last rub where everyone can see. "Hey girl, are you okay?" Alya walked over.

"Well, about Cat Noir yes. Adrien really helped me realize that I didn't know him, I didn't love Cat Noir, I loved the idea of him. I still lost my miraculous though, so that's upsetting. And now everyone knows I was peacock."

"Is there any way to get another miraculous?" Alya asked.

"I don't think so, it's limited to one miraculous per person." You of course didn't know the answer, but if you could get another miraculous it would be much easier to draw attention away from you prematurely.

"Well, I guess my blog will finally be centered around Cat Noir. And I'd gotten so attached to my Peablog..." Alya muttered, making you laugh. "There's that smile!" After that class started and school went on just as it usually would.

As you walked out with Alya you heard Adrien call out your name. "Hey (Y/N), can I walk you home today?"

"Sure," you smiled at him.

"I'll see you later." Alya said as she walked off.

"Are you sure you can walk me home? don't you have a car waiting?"

"Well, I asked father if I could go to a friends house today, and since it's so close to Christmas he said yes." Adrien gave you a big smile.

"I'm assuming I'm that friend?"

"Yes."

"Let's go." You laugh at the end of your sentence, swinging your arm around his neck. You could feel eyes on you from every direction.

"I still can't believe you were peacock." Adrien says in disbelief, obviously trying to fool your peers more than you two already had.

"I know, I know. I'm really going to miss that whole crime fighting life. It's too bad you're only allowed one miraculous in your whole life though." Soon you two were out of ear shot of the other students, so you dropped the act.

"We're here." You say, "But you know that, because you've been here before." You laugh a bit as the two of you go inside. "Do you want anything to eat? We can make Christmas cookies!"

"I can't, my father, he still has me on my modeling diet. You understand." He looked up at you apologetically from the couch.

"That must suck Adrien. What can you eat?" You sit down next to him.

"Well I can eat some meat, no pork or beef or anything like that. I can only eat light meat, never breaded or deep fried. No sugars, no greasy foods, very little caffeine, if any at all. I can have a little bit of rice. You know." He shrugs.

"I would've never guessed that Cat Noir had such a restricted diet. Is that... you know... healthy?"

"As long as I'm eating enough calories, and exercising then my dietitian says I'm good."

"There really is just so much I could've never known about you. I mean of course I'd know about you, but you know."

"You would've never known about Cat Noir."

"Yeah." You get closer to Adrien and he pulls you into a soft hug. "What even is up with your dad? Why is he so controlling?"

"Well, I do as he says to make him happy... He's never been the same since mom... disappeared."

"Adrien, I'm so sorry, I didn't know." You look up at him and he gives you a soft smile.

"I never really tell anyone. I just hope that one day I'll make him happy." He looks up at the ceiling.

"What about you Adrien?" He looks at you confused. "Why don't you do what makes you happy?" His face softens into a smile.

"Why do you think I'm here." And with that the two of you share a kiss.
