(I'm back! I dropped out of college! yay... I just think y'all should know moving forward I've only seen season one of this show lmao, so don't @ me when I inevitably get something wrong.)
"Tikki. Spots off." With those words your suit shed from your form, and you stood in front of him.
"(Y/N)... You're ladybug? and Peacock? I'm so confused, you abandoned Paris..." Adrien muttered out, looking at you.
"No, no Adrien. I was never Ladybug, not until now at least. I became peacock when I moved here from (home country). Today the real Ladybug came to me, ready completely to give up her life as a superhero. She'd been hiding out, afraid of the day Hawkmoth inevitably found out who she really was." You didn't like lying to Adrien, but Marinette's real story was not your story to tell.
Adrien rushed to you and gave you a deep hug. "Adrien?" you hugged him back. "What's the matter?"
"Nothing." he shook his head, holding you close. "I was just afraid, I didn't want to have to face my father alone."
You hugged him tighter, and that night you fell asleep in his arms, next to him on his bed.
The next morning you were awoken by a knocking on his bedroom door. "Adrien, it's time to get up it's time for school." The two of you shot awake.
"Hurry, get in the bathroom, my father can not know you are here." You didn't protest, and you quickly ran to hide in the bathroom. Right after you heard his bedroom door open.
"Oh good, you're awake, get ready for school. What would you like for breakfast?" It was the assistant with the red streak, Natalie if you remembered correctly.
"Pancakes would be great." Adrien played it off smoothly, and sent her off quickly. He ran into the bathroom. He turned on the shower and walked to you.
"Do you think you can leave through the window there?" You laughed a bit, and nodded.
"Tikki, spots on." You became ladybug again, kissed Adrien on the cheek, then fled through the window, careful not to be spotted. Once in an alleyway next to the Agreste household you muttered, "spots off."
Now a normal girl again, you walked to the front gates of the Agreste household. Soon the gates opened and the black car stopped next to you. The door opened to show Adrien and you quickly hustled into the seat next to him.
"Thank you for the ride." You address the large man driving the car, he only grunts in response. "Thank you too." You smiled at Adrien.
"You don't have to thank me, you're my girlfriend." He puts his arm around your shoulder.
"Well, you could've driven past me, I know your fathers feelings on me aren't too fond." You both laugh as the car pulls up in front of the school. You both slide out, not shying away from the many stares of your classmates.
"So, we're skipping school today?" he whispers, you look at him surprised then respond.
"Oh, absolutely." You both run off to the oh so familiar janitor's closet. "So are we going to do it today?"
"I think it's our best shot. My father thinks he's got this in his hands now with peacock, he doesn't know about ladybug yet, we should use that to our advantage." You nod.
"You're right. Spots on."
"Claws out."
The two of you fled out once you knew everybody would be sitting in class. You run together hand in hand down the streets of Paris. Soon you reach Adrien's house, and enter through his window.
You two give each other one good luck kiss, then sneak your way to Gabriel's room. His room is empty and he's nowhere to be found.
"let's look around for clues." You both search the room, high and low, but once you reach the portrait of Adrien's mom, and put your hand against it, you feel the push of the canvas, no it was too hard to be canvas, it was a button.
"Hey, Cat Noir, come here." You call him over. "This painting has buttons on it, they must lead somewhere. Help me figure out the sequence."
You two take what seems forever, pressing the buttons in a random order, with no indication of whether or not you were doing right or wrong. Soon in frustration you slam your hand against all the buttons.
You both jump as the floor beneath you starts to sink. You have to hug close, the tunnel not being meant for two people. Once down you stepped out, you in front walked the only direction you could go.
Soon you two reached the end, and as if it could sense you were there, it raised up the two of you. You both looked into each other's eyes, holding hands, knowing that this would be the last battle. As you rose up into the light, you saw his back turned to the two of you.
"So Cat Noir, you've found me. Too bad you won't have your peacock thief accompanying you." He chuckled but you were quick to interrupt.
"He's not as alone as you think!"
