The two boys stood, staring at each other. So many emotions ran through their eyes, so much pain, and love. Hair fell into ones face, and the other watched, covering his ear.
"What's happening?!" He shouted.
"I don't know!" The other replied, his voice shaky, fear coursing through him.
They both knew, one of them had to go. One of them had to be strong because the other was weak.
"Listen, if I don't make it I want you to kno-" he got cut off.
"I know. And I love you too." The other replied, giving him a long hug and a swift kiss to the cheek. "Now go!"
With a push from him, the other boy was gone. And that was the end of that.
Later, Minerva would walk the very ground this event happened, and weep. One boy alongside her, the other missing. That would be the day the goddess changed forever.
