I laid in my bed with a bucket load of stress on my chest. The ball was in three days and I had just realized that I completely forgot the real reason I came to the castle. I had to poison the king to free the soldiers.

"But they didn't look like they were in trouble," I thought to myself, "they seemed so happy and content."

If the king was experimenting on them, wouldn't they be much different? I mean, the muscly one seemed stuffed with steroids. But aside from him, they seemed sweet. Could they really be monsters?

"Do I go to the dungeon and let Jack go?" I asked myself, "No, there would definitely be guards around him. Plus, he was pretty dangerous."

I couldn't help but feel guilty for thinking that. I knew then that he was a capable fighter, but did that make him worthy of being called dangerous? Based on what I saw, his hands should be legally considered weapons. I couldn't help but wonder if he wasn't stopped, would he kill Sir Itachi?

"What about Ally. I have no idea if he's dead or alive but if he's alive, how will I find him? Does he even want to be found?" I thought.

I couldn't think anymore. I was getting too overwhelmed. I knew that at some point I would have to be brave and deal with it but at that moment, all I wanted to do was sleep.

That night, I had a dream. It felt more like a vision, except that time I wasn't physically there. I guessed that was how it worked. Dreaming made me see things and meditation actually put me there.

I saw Jack and Allioni sitting on the grass with Harlequin and the girl Allioni was within my first vision. They were all laughing and drinking. Harlequin and Jack seemed to be drunk, but Allioni and the girl were perfectly sober.

"Ally, what are you so pouty about? This is a good day!" The girl smiled wrapping her arms around him.

"We're spending too much time here. We should be preparing," Allioni said to her.

She smiled at him and rested her hands on his cheeks, "Ally, through all of the difficulties of life we have to find good times. Times to smile, laugh and watch your friends get too drunk to function."

Jack and Harlequin giggled as they rolled down a hill. They seemed so close that I couldn't believe that Jack didn't visit her on earth. It didn't make sense.

"Giovan, we're running out of time. What would happen if I lost you?" Allioni asked. He seemed genuinely worried. Yet another emotion I had never seen him use.

"Don't worry about that. For now, let's just enjoy what we have," she said.

He nodded at her. She pulled him in for a kiss and I could swear there were actual sparks. Allioni held her close by her waist as though he was terrified to let go. He seemed so involved with her. Don't get me wrong, he was still robotic and distant, but he was different with her. I was almost convinced he thought she was the only person on Saros.

The beautiful moment didn't last forever, because in an instant the scene changed. Allioni and Giovan were no longer held in each other's arms or speaking to each other with such love and compassion that my heart could burst. They weren't strategizing how to force Ally to have a good time. They weren't even in a huge fight. It was much different.

Allioni was on his knees in a pile of ash. He seemed frozen as there wasn't even a breath coming out of his body. His long light purple hair flew as the wind passed and his long court was torn. His face was stone cold except for a single tear trickling down his nose. He seemed fragile.

Below him was Giovan. Her body was limp and cold. Her face was blank and her lungs were breathless. She laid there with her skin covered in ash and her hair darkened.

"Giovan," Allioni asked reaching for her face, "are you there?"

I woke up with tears trickling down my face. I couldn't believe that I was crying about the death of someone I didn't even know, but I still cried. I couldn't help but sob and weep for her.

She seemed so kind and true. I could tell that she loved Allioni and wanted to be with him. I couldn't believe that after all of that love, she couldn't be with him. I couldn't believe that their love ended in tragedy. I couldn't believe that she was gone.

After about five minutes of endless weeping. I decided to get up and start my day. I walked over to my wardrobe and was glad to see that it wasn't a portal. I pulled out a long navy blue dress and took my towel to the shower area.

It was still very early, so I was sure no one would be there. I may have struck gold with the fact that Alexandria discovered running water. Otherwise, I would have not showered in a week. I hoped that a shower could make me feel better about Giovan.

When I stepped into the hallway. I heard footsteps coming from down the hall. I thought nothing of it and continued, but when I heard the voice of Sir Itachi, I hid in a doorway.

"Make sure that all is ready for the ball. We don't want any slip-ups when it comes to our special guest," he instructed.

I walked out from behind the doorway and peeped over the corner. I saw Sir Itachi under the glowing candlelight and Benny beside him. Benny was still holding that clipboard writing down everything Itachi said. It was ridiculous to see him try to write with that ridiculous feathered quill.

"Yes Sir, it will go as smoothly as a ship on still waters," he said excitedly.

"It better," Sir Itachi said walking closer to him, "because sometimes when the water is rough, someone goes overboard."
