"What do you mean you have no idea where he is?" Elias asked him. "We saw him put on the bracelet, but then before we knew it, he was gone. He and his army of five thousand," he answered. "Did you say f-five t-thousand?" I asked in bewilderment. "Yes. With his dark power, he has made an army of wolves. He's been experimenting with them for years now," Isidora said.

"Five thousand," I repeated for the second time. I then looked at Elias to see that he was in complete shock like me. That was a massive army.

We finally returned back to the others. They were in their ready positions. As we stood there waiting, I couldn't help but look around. Regnum Ignis was practically empty. Isidora and Jasper had sent the people who lived here to Regnum Terram, so we were all alone, which was a good thing, but it didn't make much sense that Roman let them go freely. I hated not knowing what was really going on.

Suddenly the clouds above us began to move swiftly. It became very windy. The leaves, sticks, and shrubs around us were picked up into the air. My shield was ripped out of my hand as it flew up into the air as well. Immediately Sebastián used his powers and created a ball of water around it preventing it from getting swept up further into the sky. I then rushed over towards a tree and held onto it for dear life.

Out of nowhere, it began to pour rain. Mateo stretched his hands forward which pushed the rain away so that none of us could get wet. "Thanks," we all said. As the water hit the ground, the dirt became muddy and slippery. It was creating a disaster. I watched as Sebastián let go of my shield allowing it to fall onto the ground. "Thank you," I exclaimed.

"What is happening?" Lucian yelled a few moments later. And then it happened. The light sky suddenly grew dark. It was now pitch black. "Woah," I heard Neha say. It was like someone had turned off the light in a room. The full moon arose taking its place in the night sky. It was bigger than it had ever been before as it illuminated in the dark. Stars suddenly appeared too. We could now see a bit better. I removed my hands from the tree when everything became still again. I was in complete shock. I had no idea what was going on.

All of a sudden, the ground began to shake. "Earthquake?" Indigo asked in fear. I looked ahead to see a great army appear before our eyes. It was Roman's five thousand. There were five thousand wolves charging towards us.

"It's time," Sebastián stated. He shifted into his large wolf and howled loudly at the moon. His pack answered in response and howled back. I took the time to place my earrings back into my ears. I was very glad that Isidora had retrieved it for me.

I watched my friends as they shifted into their wolves too. It was just me and them. A vampire and packs of wolves. The sixteen and seventeen-year-olds had stayed in Regnum Aqua for it was far too dangerous for them to be fighting. Everyone else was amongst Sebastián's army.

I took out my sword and held onto it tightly as I lifted my heavy shield off of the ground feeling prepared. I was ready to defeat Roman. Even though it was our tiny army against his five thousand, I still had hope. I stood there staring at the wolves as they ran with speed towards us. I couldn't help but notice that Roman was nowhere to be seen. Where was he? "Follow the plan or you will get hurt," Sebastián's voice rang in my head.

Our plan was to get to Roman, so Sebastián had assigned six of us to try and get closer to him. It was two werewolves from Regnum Aqua, Isidora, Jasper, Elias, and I. Despite us not seeing him, we all assumed that he would be behind his army.

"We should split up! Elias and I will go right, and you and Jasper will go left," I heard Isidora suggest. "I am not leaving Leilani!" I heard Elias exclaim. "Elias! Now is not the time! Just go!" I yelled at him. I watched him whimper before he and the werewolf followed Isidora. "Alright, stay behind me!" the werewolf said. So Jasper and I began to run as we followed him.

In a matter of seconds, we were colliding with Roman's army. I swung my sword and sliced a wolf's neck. Blood sprayed out as it fell beside me. From behind, there were arrows being shot by our army as they fell and pierced Roman's wolves. I hated the idea of killing, but they were only wolves. They weren't actual people.

I continued swinging and stabbing any wolf that came my way. I suddenly took a hit in my calf causing me to groan in pain. I looked down to see four bloody claws marks displayed on my leg. Ignoring the pain, I continued swinging my sword. "Leilani watch out!" I heard the werewolf shout. I turned around swiftly and slammed my shield against a wolf. It staggered backward allowing me to stab it in its chest. I pulled it out quickly. Blaike's voice suddenly rang through my head. "Arrows!"

Without thinking, I immediately took my shield and crouched down in a ball. I looked ahead to see an arrow with fire land right in front of me. I stared at it in complete shock.

After all the arrows had been released, I got up and swung my sword, chopping off a wolf's head. I stood there as I watched it fall onto the ground and its body collapse. It laid there shaking for a bit before it had completely gone still. I didn't have time to stand there any longer because two wolves charged towards me at the exact same time. I rolled to the right and quickly ran behind them cutting both of their bodies in half.

I briefly took the time to turn around and look at how our army was doing. We weren't doing that good. I saw many wolves from our side running away with fire covering their bodies and many others lying on the ground with claw marks all over their bodies'. I gasped as I put my hand to my mouth. "Oh no," I breathed out. We needed help. We needed help now.

It suddenly happened so fast. A huge wolf from Roman's army ran straight towards me. With no time to react, it leaped onto my body. As we fell back, my shield got knocked out of my hand. I looked up in shock to see its red eyes glow with rage. Its drool dangled from its teeth as it snarled at me.
