My Brothers Best Friend

Hospital

(Jin P/O/V)

I run to her side and slightly shake her body. "Wake up! Y/N! Please!" I say. I throw water and some clothes in a bag and take Y/N to the nearest hospital.

   We rush in and I tell the lady the situation. She gets us a room and they get her a heart monitor and IV. Her heart rate is slow and the doctor said she's lucky to still have a heart beat. They said she was dehydrated and could've been severely hurt by falling. "What exactly is you connection to Mrs.Kim?" He asked. "Boyfriend. I mean friends, like boyfriend but friend." I start to stutter and he laughs "It's fine." He smiles "Does she have any family?" "Yes, she has a brother." I answer. He asks me to call him and leaves. I hold my finger over the call button. What do I tell him? That she was at my house? I can't tell him that. I continue to decide weather to do it or not when I throw my phone on the cushion next to me. I hear a ring from my phone and thanks to my luck, my finger had hit the button on the way down and now he's on the line.

Namjoon:
Hello?

Jin:
Uh hey

Namjoon:
Hey Jin what happened

Jin:
Um Y/N is in the hospital because we were practicing and she was dehydrated and fell

Namjoon:
WHAT! WASN'T SHE WITH KAI!

Jin:
What?

Namjoon:
She told me she was with Kai in the hospital after an accident at the skating ring!

Jin:
Uh.....

Namjoon:
Forget it I'm on my way!

   He hangs up and I realize how much trouble we're both about to be in.

(Time Skip)

   Namjoon gets in and looks at me. Then at Y/N, he goes from mad to sad. He runs to her side and falls to his knees. I saw the tears threaten to fall. Instead he stood up and looked me in the eye. "Now explain what happened." I took a deep breath and began.

"Well I saw her at the skating ring and asked if she needed a ride home and she said no so I said ok and left. She then came to my house crying because she was at the hospital with Kai and hoped he'd be alright. She ended up sleeping at my house and the next morning she got up early to practice. I began to dance with her and she passed out due to dehydration."

I felt bad lying to my best friend but to keep our friends ship safe and Y/N I had to.

"Thank you for taking care of her Jin. You mean everything to me and I trust you with her." He said. I felt so much guilt at that moment I almost told him the truth. His words sounded so genuine I even wanted to ask to be her boyfriend but that'll make things worse.

(Time Skip)

It had been a good 30 minutes until Y/N woke up and looked around. She tried to sit up but Namjoon and I both ran over to help her. She asked what happened and Namjoon explained everything. She looked at me and I gave her a look that says 'Go with it'.

"Yeah I was just worried for Kai." She said. Namjoon held her hand. Softly rubbing his thumb over it. I held the rail, wanting so badly to lay my lips on her's.

The doctor walked in and smiled "Ah, Y/N your awake. Well Mr.Kim." We both looked up and he laughed. "The brother." We all laugh and Namjoon walks up to the doctor. "She can leave tonight if her blood pressure stays at this level." Namjoon nods and thanks the doctor.

Once he leaves Namjoon leaves to go to the bathroom. I wait till he's gone to catch Y/N up on the story of 'what happened'. He comes back just in time for me to finish and we both smile at him.
