6- Escape?

Vernon's POV~

We were all hugging Andy tightly. He was asleep at the moment, but he had some things to do today. So we were going to enjoy all the time we currently have with him. It didn't take long for him to get up. He got up and took a shower. Aberforth had mischievous smile and approached the shower with him. Anvindr didn't approve, so he grabbed Aberforth and said "Nope." He glares at Anvindr and says "Okay, you go shower with him then." Anvindr then says with a straight face "As much as I'd like to, I'm not going to." They both continue to flare at each other. Sirius and Phoenix were still asleep. While they glared, I snuck past them and entered the shower room myself. I asked Andy "May I join?" He just agreed and I went in with him. We both started to shower. It was a little cramped. Andy then says "It's a little cramped." I then say "I can leave if you want." He then shakes his head and says that it's fine. He then asks me "Does wanting to take a shower have something to do with you being Spirit of the Forest?" I then look at him with a smile and say "Yes, actually." He then says "So, would Aberforth like it because as Spirit of the River, water is his elemental?" I nod and say "Yeah. Sirius and Anvindr are neutral in thought when it comes to showers. However, Phoenix never showers. Because fire is his elemental, he refuses to shower." He nods his head. He then asks me "So how does Phoenix shower? Wait, do Spirits even shower?" I then say "Well, we do shower, or we bathe every chance we get. For Phoenix, because he hates water, he bathed in lava or magma." He then widens his eyes and says "Isn't it hot?" I shrug my shoulders and say "That's a question to ask him, not me." He then says "I wonder why Aberforth and Phoenix don't fight then." I hug him close to me and the water pours over our heads as we get rid of the shampoo. I then say "Yeah. You'd think because of their opposite elements that they'd be the one to fight a lot, but no. They're neutral to each other. Anvindr and Aberforth seem to be the ones to always fight." He then says "Wind and Water aren't even opposite." I nod my head and say "Yeah, and they work hand-in-hand when making storms, or tornados, and so on." I scrub some body wash on Andy's back. I turn around and he does the same. I feel his hand in my tail and look. He then says "Does this not hurt you or make you feel uncomfortable?" I then say "Unlike a lot of shows, or books, or whatever forms of entertainment humans come up with, the tail isn't all that sensitive. You'd think it would be because it connects with our spine, but it's not bad. For me personally, I actually like it when people touch my tail. It feels even better when someone pets it." He nods and says "Like this?" He starts to pet my tail and I blush. It feels so good. I nod. He starts to put the body wash on my tail and back. Once he did, he used the shower head and watered off all the soap. He uses the towel to dry off his body and head. I shake my body real quick to get most of the water off. I then use a towel get the rest off. We both put on our clothes and get out of the shower room. As soon as I got out, everyone's eyes were on me. And not in a friendly way. I smile and said with a bit of cockiness. "Yes, it felt very nice to be so close to Andy." Their glares hardened. I just smile and it on the couch. Andy eats breakfast real quick and goes to head out. We all pull him into a hug. Sirius then asks "Do you have to go?" Andy replies "Yes, I have to." He goes to move, but we hugs him tighter. We all nuzzle into him and say in unison "We love you." He makes it out of our grasps and says "Don't follow me this time. I can tell when you're near me or not." Phoenix then says with a smile "That's our lover's bond." He then says "That's not what it is." He then leaves. We didn't want to piss off Andy, so we stayed behind as told.

Andy's POV

I was walking to the store in the city. We have a town not far from here, but it doesn't have all the stuff I need. Tyler was picking me up since he had to get things too. He was at the end of my driveway, so I head down and went in his truck. We then started to drive to the city. I ask him "You didn't tell anyone, right?" He then nods and says "Even though most of humanity doesn't know what it is anymore, I still have common sense." I nod and he says "Even if I told anyone, it'd be the same way with you. I thought you were going insane. They'd think the same of me." I then say "Yeah." Tyler then says "Still, you're pretty lucky." I then say "You only think that because you're a furry." He then says "You are too." I then say "I'm more of a supporter. You go beyond and buy a $500 fursuit. Well I just enjoy the fandom. I don't have a fursona or anything like you do." He then says "True. Still, being destined to be with Spirits. That take the form of furries." I then say "True, they are spirits, but I'm still straight. Even if Furaih said that sexuality is a myth." Tyler looks at me with a surprised look. He then asked "You talked to the God of Creation?" I then say "Spirit, not god. The spirits said that god is a myth. Furaih is the Spirit of Creation, so he would technically be god. However, he chooses to be a spirit, not a god. In fact, according to the spirits, he hates being called one." Tyler nods his head and asks "So, what does Furaih look like?" I then say "He looks like a wolf. A brownish, grey wolf. He dresses in Japanese like clothing. Like the others, he's actually pretty tall. He towers me in height like the rest of them." Tyler gives me a smug look and says "Well that's because you're short." I sigh and say "Don't rub it in. I know I'm short." Tyler just smiles and asks compared to me, how tall is he?" I then think and say "He might be slightly taller than you. He actually probably about the same height as Vernon." Tyler then asks "That's the Fox, right? Spirit of the Forest?" I nod. We make it to the store and continue to talk. He then says "Wow, meeting the Spirit of Creation and actually being able to talk to him. That's quite an honor. Even more rare than meeting your favorite singer." I nod my head and say "Though I still have a lot to learn about the Spirits." Tyler then says "You don't mind if I come over to cuddle with them again, do you?" I then say "Not at all." We continue to walk and a little girl points out the circlet in my head. She says to her mom "Mommy! Mommy! That person has a tiara. Are they a guy or girl?" Her mom pulls her hand and says "Don't worry, sweetie. We'll get you one and you'll become a princess." I look and see a few people chuckling. Even Tyler was slightly chuckling. I start to blush in embarrassment. I should ask Anvindr about if there's a way to change it. I then think "They're not here to stop me from taking off this jewelry." When we got all our stuff and paid, we head out to a secluded spot. I set down the jewelry, and hope that someone finds it. The I'll be free of the spirits and someone else will love them. I go to walk away, but run into something. However, there was nothing there. I go to walk again, but I am again stopped. I press my hand out and see a sort of barrier. I ask Tyler "Hey, can you help me?" He looks at me and grabs my hand. He pulls on it, but the barrier wasn't letting me go. I look at the gems and say "It must be the gems. They're probably making sure I don't leave them behind. I grab the gems and put them back on. I walk again and it's perfectly fine. I then sigh and say "I guess I really can't leave them." Tyler then shrugs and says "Well, even if you did somehow lose them or tried to throw them away, the spirits would probably just retrieve them and bring them back. They really don't want to let go of you. They love you." I nod my head. Even if they stay, it's really not that bad. I go back home with Tyler. Once we got back, I put the stuff I bought away the spirits hugged me. Tyler jumps right into the giant fluff pile and asks to be nuzzled. He really is a little kid around furries. I then ask Anvindr as he hugs me tightly "Anvindr?" He looks at me and asks "Yes?" I then say "Is there a way to change your gem into a different form of jewelry?" Anvindr then says "Yeah, I can, but why?" I then said "A circlet is more of a girly form of jewelry. I got laughed at for wearing one." Anvindr nods and says "I'll do it later." I nod my head as I cuddle up to them.
