You're on the couch when he walks in, and you don't really hear the door open. He hears a little sniffle and tilts his head. He sets his stuff down and walks over to you slowly, sitting in front of the couch to look at you.
"Y/N?" He whispers.
You open your eyes. "When did you get here?"
"Just now. Is everything okay?"
Your eyes water all over again, and Hongjoong sets his hand on your cheek, moving his thumb across your skin. You tell him that you had a really bad day and he kisses your forehead.
"Do you wanna cuddle?"
You smile at his question, and he feels accomplished that he got you to smile. You tell him you'd love to cuddle, and that's exactly what you guys do.

He stops to get both of you ice cream before he comes home, and when he walks in, he notices that it's far too quiet. He hears a little noise from the kitchen and sees you at the counter, sobbing quietly. He comes up to you and puts his hand on your back, sitting next to you.
"Y/N, what happened?"
You wipe your eyes and look at him. "I got in a fight with B/F/N, and she's really mad at me."
He gets up to put the ice cream in the freezer, then he comes back and hugs you from behind. "You guys always pull through a fight. Everything will be okay." He reassures.
You nod and get up, so you can hug him properly and lay your head on his chest. "I missed you." You tell him.
He chuckles and kisses the top of your head. "I missed you more."
