11: Night At the Movies

I stayed in my room the entire day, but then I get a text from Alena.

Lovely Ally:
Let's go watch a horror movie tonight, you should invite your brother

Me:
Alr, I could use some cheering up

Lovely Ally:
Everything alright?

Me:
Yeah, just thinking bout my mom again

I go out of my room and see my brother on the couch.

"Let's go watch a movie with Ally." I tell my brother.

"What kind of movie?"

"Scary movie."

Shay smiles with excitement.

"Alright."

As I'm getting ready to go out, I get a text from Mr. Cloud.

Mr. Narcissist:
How are you spending your day off?

Me:
I am about to watch a movie with my brother and Alena

Mr. Narcissist:
Which movie? I'll pay

My eyes widen.

Me:
Aren't you enjoying your day off, sir?"

Mr. Narcissist:
Yes, but I'm bored and lonely. You also said to act more normal. What's more normal than going out with friends?

Me:
I meant your own friends

Mr. Narcissist:
Alena is like a friend

"Ugh!!!!" I groan.

I can't escape this so I just tell him the movie and the showing. I text Alena.

Me:
My boss is tagging along 😵

Lovely Ally:
Perfect!

Me:
Perfect?

Lovely Ally:
Yes, you should be spending more time with him if you want him to catch feelings for you

Me:
HE IS MY BOSS

Lovely Ally:
but he is a high class man

Me:

20 minutes later, I get a call from Mr. Cloud.

"Hello?"

"I'm right outside your house."

"Great! I'll be right out, sir."

I hang up.

"Shay!!!! Ready?"

He comes out of his room.

"Yep."

"By the way, my boss is taking us."

"Your boss is going?"
