"Wow.." Francis said looking at me. "Hey..." I smiled at his dropped jaw. "You look amazing" he managed to say staring at me. "Oh..these are for you" he handed me the beautiful flowers. "Thank you so much," I smiled, placing them inside. I took one out of the bouquet, closing the door. "Why bring one?" Francis asked in a sweet tone. "For this" I smiled tying the rose to my tux. "Where to now?" I asked, "this way," he pointed to a car. "I hardly use my car, only for special occasions" he laughed. "Me too," I said pointing to the area my car was at.
"Let's go" He smiled holding an arm out for me that I gladly took. He unlocked the car door and held the door open for me. "Thank you," I smiled, sitting inside of it. I am incredibly nervous. I looked at the time, and it was now eight pm. I have exactly four hours to get him to say it. Francis sat in the car and started the car. "I made a reservation at The Ledbury" he smiled at me. "Wow, That is fancy," I said, shocked. "Only the best for you" he smiled at me.

After driving for some time, we arrived at the place. I checked the time and saw it was almost nine pm. So now time decides to go faster. What complete shit!!! I breathed out, stepping outside the car. "You ready?" Francis asked, smiling, and I nodded. "Of course," I smiled, following beside him. I tried walking fast so we could go inside and waste any time."I had a reservation for two for Francis Bonnefoy" he smiled at the man. "Right this way, sir," the man said, taking menus in hand so we could follow him. My heart needs to calm down already. "Here we are," the man said, making me rush to sit down a bit. "What can I start you off with?" The waiter asked. Francis started to order for us as I trailed off a bit. This has to go well. I need to watch what I say.
"Arthur, you are stunning tonight," Francis smiled while the waiter came back to pour us some wine. "You are more," I smiled back at him. "So I remember you saying you would talk to me about something?" I asked a bit fast. "Already?" He chuckled happily. "Before I get to that. I want to tell you how grateful I am to have agreed to come," Francis took my hand and held it softly. I breathed out, defeated. I should at least enjoy this moment; who knows if I will have another chance like this.
"When you asked me, I could not refuse. It was like a dream come true," I smiled back at him. "Why?" He asked, smiling at me. "Because I-." I can not go further. "I should be asking you why you asked me?" I turned the question back to him. "Why wouldn't I? You mean a lot to me" he smiled, sipping his wine.
"I have a question for you, Arthur." Francis placed his chin on his palm, looking at me. "Which is?" I asked, doing the same as him. "Why are you denying how you feel?" He asked, making my eyes widen. "What?" I asked, confused. "I noticed you have been doing some things. But when it comes down to it, you won't say how you feel. Why is that?" He asked seriously. Crap I have no idea what to do. "I am doing none of the such," I tried to explain.
"Stop lying," he said, making me shocked. This is escalating, and I can't tell him what is wrong. "Are you trying to play with my feelings?" He asked me sadly. I felt my heart shatter hearing him ask that. "No... it is not like that," I started. "Then what is it?" He asked worriedly. "I can't tell you....not tonight," I tried to explain. However, he looked away sadly. I looked at my watch quickly and saw it was 9:30 pm.
"Arthur... I know about the strings," he started, and I lifted a brow, confused. "I know... I told-." He cut me off suddenly. "Not That Arthur. I mean, I know we are soulmates," Francis said, making my eyes widen. How could he know that?! "How do you-?"
"The night you got drunk. You told me I have been thinking about it a lot lately, Arthur. I have no idea what your gestures mean. Is it lust? Or love? You have not given me a straight answer" Francis reached for my hand tightly and looked to my neck. "Or maybe.....maybe you are afraid to be with me," he said, holding my hand more tightly."No! It is not like that; I have reasons I can not explain tonight." I explained, but he was still confused. I would not have expected this. I am sure none of us would have expected this. I looked at the time a bit, and it was moving fast. How is this possible? How could it already almost be ten pm?
"Your food is ready," the waiter said, breaking Francis's stare at me. I drank my wine a bit and let the waiter place the plate of food in front of me. "You must probably hate me," I said, horrified. He was angry because he knew I was keeping secrets from him. I only have two hours left now. I was going to fail. "Do not say such things, Arthur," Francis spoke, making me look at him. "Why not? You know I am hiding something, but I can not explain it at the moment," I said, feeling my voice crack. The love of my life was going to hate me forever. I was going to die unloved. "I am just worried, Arthur," Francis started. "But why? Why are you so worried?" I asked sadly.
"Because!!! I am In love with you, Arthur. I would do anything for you. You are....mon Cherie , mon amour, my everything."
