I sat at my vanity finishing up my hair and makeup. My parents were still talking to the police on what they should do and Carrie was staying at her friends all weekend.

Samantha is supposed to pick me up and we're definitely going to be late. Not that it really mattered but we are his better friends so it's kinda bad on our part.

Rebecca made fun of me last night since my parents aren't home saying I could've picked the more revealing costume but I'm happy with what I chose. I won't have to worry about slip ups anywhere.

I had my hair curled and a natural brown eyeshadow look with winged eyeliner. I finished it with a red matte lipstick. I threw on the shoes that went with the costume and all the accessories after taking the T-shirt I had on over my dress on. There was no way I was going to try and put on this white dress after I put on my makeup.

A knock on the door alerted me Samantha was here. I grabbed my phone off the charger and walked down the stairs. I opened the door and a older women stood before me.

She looked oddly familiar but I definitely didn't know her. "Oh um, is your mother home?" She asked. "No she's visiting family. Can I leave her a message?" I asked. Maybe this was an old patient.

"Ummm it depends. I'm Maddison, Maddison Hart." The lady said. My heart started to race and I knew my eyes widened slightly.

"So you are aware of the situation. I just wanted to warn y'all. Ricky isn't the same. He's much more violent. I told him the night he went to hunt for you that revenge wasn't the answer and he... he hit me. Repetitively. Then I heard what happened and knew his inability to listen sent him in the wrong direction. But he will come for you're family. Be prepared. I'm leaving the country to see some family in London. I just wanted to warn you're family before I left. I'm so sorry." She warned me with a frightened voice.

Wow that's a lot for seventeen year old me to take in. I took a deep breath.

"Thank you. I'm sorry about your daughter." I said trying not to cry. "Oh honey it's fine, I just don't want to see another child die for his screw up." She said.

She looked exhausted. "Lilly? Do I need to wait?" Samantha's voice called from her car in the drive way. "Oh no I'm coming!" I yelled back.

"Thank you again." I said trying not to shake with fear. "Stay safe darling. It'll take him at least a month to figure out he went in the wrong direction, he isn't the smartest." She whispered lowly.

I nodded and closed the door and locked it behind me as she strutted to her car. I walked to Samantha's and got in.

"Who was that?" She asked. "Oh umm my aunt Shirley. She's going to London for awhile and wanted to say bye to my mom. She didn't know she wasn't here." I stated.

"London?" Samantha asked shocked. "Oh yeah one of her kids moved out there." I stated nonchalantly.

Samantha nodded as she pulled out of her drive way. I took a deep breath as she turned up the music. I hate lying.

We pulled up and I was in instant aww. It looked so scary but so fun at the same time. I was told random pranks were pulled throughout the night but nothing too scary.

We walked towards the entrance checking our surroundings for people to pop out. Once we made it in safely we went straight towards the kitchen for drinks.

I wasn't drinking tonight but Damon promised he'd hide some cokes and water in the fridge for me. As Samantha made her drink I grabbed a can of coke and poured it into a solo cup.

It's a trick I learned here lately. You make it look like you're drinking so nobody pressures you into it.

"Hey gorgeous." Tyler's voice whispered in my ear. I turned around to see his costume.

He was dressed as a SWAT member, and he looked hot. Him and Jason dressed as the same thing but I haven't seen Jason yet.

"Wow, you look good." I admitted as I took a small drink. He frowned. "Thought you weren't drinking?" He asked/stated. "I'm not it's just coke." I stated honestly.

"Okay, lets go find our group. Sam already ditched." Tyler said looking around the kitchen. I smiled at the nickname he gave my friend.

Tyler grabbed my hand and lead me through the house. "I second thought, why don't we join the crowed and dance?" Tyler offered. "Lets do it." I answered. Tyler smiled and spun me in a circle before we started dancing to the beat.
~~
"I'm going to the bathroom. I'll meet you with our friends." I told Tyler breathlessly from dancing.

Tyler nodded before kissing me deeply. I kissed back instantly. I pulled away smiling. "I'll see you in a minute." I said before walking away.

I slid past some couples and into the bathroom as quickly as possible. After washing my hands and making sure my costume was in place I walked out.

I could see the group as I made my way out of the hall way. I looked at the space between us and debated the quickest way to them.

"You don't know him like I know him." Amy's voice sneered.

I rolled my eyes and looked at her. "What do you want?" I asked.

"Tyler isn't a great guy Lilly. Sure he's great but he has a past. A bad past that has repeated itself multiple times." She said standing between me and the crowd.

"Well it can't be that bad if you're still obsessed with him." I snapped back feeling annoyed.

"I'm just saying I've been paying attention to you Lilly and he's not the kind of guy YOU would want. Maybe you should actually find out about his past and most likely future before you dive in. I'm used to being used and I'm used to sketchy things and his past attracts me, but I can almost guarantee it won't for you." Amy said.

I can't tell if she's trying to help me or push me away from him so she can have him.

"Whatever Amy I have a group of friends to get to." I said walking away. As I got to them I couldn't help but replay Amy's words as Tyler kissed me on the cheek.
