(A/n: The next two chapter are kinda filler chapters but trust me it's worth it:))

It's Friday morning. Taylor is with me and it's time to leave. The past few days have been scary as Christmas break neared.

The plan is for me and Taylor to go tonight then everyone is coming tonight. Everyone will come home for Christmas then come back the next day.

Well everyone but me and Taylor. "I'll meet you in the car." I said to Taylor. She went to the garage with our last few grocery sacks.

Our bags were already in the car and now I just had to say my goodbyes. "I love you Carrie! I'll see you so soon." I said fighting the urge to cry. "I love you too." She said carefully. She's caught on somethings wrong.

"Run upstairs and finish packing." Matt told her. She did as told. I gave my mom and tight hug and that's when I started crying. "I love you so much babygirl. I will see you soon. This man will not ruin my family." She said crying as well.

I just nodded before pulling away. "I love you too mom." I said wiping my eyes. "Bye, I love you dad." I said hugging Matt. I started calling him dad sometime last week.

"I love you too. I got you this, just for emergencies." Matt said sliding a cold, heavy, piece of metal into my hands. I looked down and saw a gun. "It's chamber is full. Only use it if it comes down to life or death." Matt said. I nodded feeling worried I might have to use it.

"I need to go if I'm going to get everything ready." I said. I was bad with goodbyes. I hated them.

I just walked out of the door and got in my drivers seat, putting the gun in the small compartment by my seat, before opening the garage. "Let's do this." I sighed before pulling out.

I will say the 'safe' house was beautiful. It was two stories and had a huge hot tub in the back. It had a great security system and everything.

Taylor and I unpacked all the groceries and picked our room. We got one of the two on the bottom to share. Two others would have to share a room but I'd leave that to them. It was late, around eleven, and they still haven't got here but I knew it was going to be late.

Taylor and I sat on one of the huge couches talking. "So y'all did win state?" She asked. "Oh yea by two touchdowns. I'm so proud of the guys!" I said happily.

A set of headlights shined into the window. "Tyler said he'd call before he got here." I said worriedly. "Did you lock the door?" Taylor asked. "Yes." I said feeling slightly relieved.

The door knob started jiggling and I couldn't help the gasp that came from my lips. "Lilly let us in its cold!" Lisa groaned.

I sighed of relief before running to the door and letting them all in. Taylor explained the rooming as I locked the door and set up the security system.

"You told me you'd call me." I said to Tyler who was still by my side. "Sorry my phone died as we were pulling into the final road." Tyler explained.

I nodded understanding. We walked to the living room. "Tyler we gave you the other downstairs room so you could be by Lilly." Damon said.

"I was gonna share with you but Lisa said Lilly might end up in your room." Jason said. I could tell that sentence hurt him.

My phone ringing at the most perfect time gave me a reason to go to the kitchen. Worried I'd miss the call I answered without looking.

It should be my mom anyways. "Hello?" I answered. "So I see you aren't home tonight? You're just testing my anger." A mans voice said sending chills down my spine.

I hung up quickly before sending the number to the agent on my case. I then blocked it as he told me to do. I took a deep calming breath before walking back to the living room. It will be a long week
~~
It's the next night and we decided we would just relax in the hot tub tonight. "Do y'all think they're close to catching him?" Lisa's the first to speak, although it's barley above a whisper.

"No, I mean I hope they are but I can feel that it's not close to being over." I say honestly. Tyler puts his hand around me and pulls me closer to him and I notice Jason look away. My heart feels bad.

"I'm sure they're getting closer." Taylor reassures. She's always been the best at keeping me calm. "I don't know why we didn't just set up a trap. Use me as bait and then they could get him in the act." I say my thoughts out loud.

"No one in their right mind would put your life at risk like that." Jason said still not looking at us, but looking at the stars now. "If it made things go faster I would." I stated looking at the stars as well. "I wouldn't let you." Tyler says staring at me intensely.

"Let's lighten the mood. Let's play two truths and a lie." I offer. After getting some agreements we decide to play.
~~
It's been hours. I have granny hands. The rest of the girls went to shower and cook. Tyler and Damon just went in to shower before we ate.

So that left Jason and I. "I'm sorry Jason, I know this might be awkward for you, but it means so much you came." I state after the silence finally killed my will.

"Of course I came. I'm going to be here for you no matter what." Jason said. "Even when you move on?" I ask the question carefully.

"There is no moving on from you for me. I've been with plenty of girls. You're perfect Lilly. You're worth waiting for." Jason said. He always says things like this and is so confident in himself.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked knowing he'd let me. He nodded. "What's the big past of Tyler's everyone mentions to me?" I asked.

"It's not my place to tell you. But if history truly repeats itself, be careful. I hate to admit it but he's changed because of you. I never thought I'd be able to say that about him. It doesn't surprise me you could change him." Jason explains.

The sound of the sliding door makes us look at it. "Showers open and foods about to be ready." Damon says. I stand up first and wrap myself into a towel. Jason puts his hands on my waist and picks me up and sets me out of the water. I fought the smile trying to form on my face as I walked inside.
