That evening was Julie and Greg's last evening with them at the villa. They would attend the race the next day, and then catch a flight back to England that same night.

Britta had arranged the catering for dinner again and as per usual, everything was perfect. They'd got back from the track fairly late, so were all starving by the time they got to eat.

Casey sat at the huge wooden outdoor dining table between Seb and Jacob. Everyone's spirits were high, especially due to Seb's P2 position in qualifying earlier that day.

Casey watched on as Evan, sat opposite her at the table, coaxed Jacob to spread out his fingers on the table before using his knife to quickly stab the table between them. Julie and Britta shrieked in horror as they saw what was happening.

"Stop that! I am not driving anyone to the hospital." Britta yelped.

Casey giggled, she'd seen him do this particular party trick a million times. He was a wheel gunner after all, the best on the team, his hand eye coordination was scarily accurate.

"Show off." Casey murmured, sharing a smirk with Jacob who didn't seem at all worried.

Casey reached over, laying her hand on top of Jacob's, slightly overlapping their fingers to make the gaps of wood between their combined fingers even smaller.

The rest of the table squirmed in fascinated horror as Evan stabbed the knife in each gap perfectly in rapid succession, avoiding Jacob and Casey's fingers effortlessly.

"If there's one thing you can trust Evan with, it's not stabbing you in the knife-finger-stabbing game." Casey announced confidently, "It's his one true talent."

Evan grinned proudly while Jacob chuckled at him.

"Okay! I believe you. Now please stop." Seb said nervously, pulling Casey's hand away and lacing their fingers safely together.

"Sometimes I wonder how Evan made it this far in one piece." Britta breathed.

"Are you going to come in for a swim tonight Julie?" Evan asked mischievously.

Julie giggled, "Oh, why not."

Casey groaned quietly and turned to Seb, biting his shoulder subtly. He bowed his forehead against hers and chuckled. "Just one more night." he reminded her under his breath, "You've got bigger problems anyway."

Casey locked her eyes on his, "What would that be?"

"Meeting my parents tomorrow." he grinned.

Casey's heart flipped uncomfortably. The time had finally come.

"I'm only kidding, they'll love you." he whispered, kissing her forehead, "Because I love you."

Casey smiled and rested her head on his shoulder contentedly.

"Right, volleyball teams!" Evan said loudly, clapping his hands together, "I'm sick of Seb, he's crap at water sports."

Seb scoffed, "I'm pretty sure I've been carrying the team all week!"

"The team is hereby disbanded." Evan retorted, shooting Seb a sly look before rounding on Heikki, "Heikki, welcome to the team."

Jacob snorted as Evan bossed everyone around, aligning himself with Heikki, who was the best player by a long shot.

"Whose team am I on?" Julie said giddily.

"You're with us obviously." Evan said smoothly, sending Julie into another bout of school-girl laughter.

"Guess that leaves us three." Casey said, holding out her palms either side of her to Seb and Jacob. They each high-fived her.

"Let's show that smug little traitor." Jacob said with a grin in Casey & Seb's direction.
