Peter's POV:

I wasn't really sure why I felt emotional about it. I was going to come back the next weekend, but it felt weird. I didn't want to leave them, they were the family I never had. I bit my lip, trying not to look like a pussy. I let go of my tight grip on my backpack straps and turned to them.

They were all standing there, smiling. Oh my god, this hurts my heart. I walked up to Steve first. "Bye Captain," I told him, letting him envelope me in a deep hug.

"Bye Peter, hope your week back at school goes well. I made you a snack for your ride back home," Steve told me, taking out a brown paper bag. "So you don't get hungry on the Metro."

I smiled. "Thanks Steve." I took the bag. I turned to Natasha. "See you, Nat," I told her, holding out my hand. We began doing the handshake we created together in the shooting range when she trained me. We had spent hours perfecting it every time we trained together. It ended with a "falalala~" in reference to our favorite movie we watched together.

I giggled.

I turned to Thor. "Ah, come here tiny human," He told me, opening his arms. I walked up to him and gave him a hug. His arms wrapped around me but he was way more gentle than Steve.

I took a step back and smiled at him. "Bye, Thor," I told him. He waved at me in response, grinning. I moved onto Bucky. "Can I fist bump your metal arm?" I asked him, wanting to do this my whole life.

He held up his arm in a fist. My smile grew when I fist bumped him. "Awesome!" I exclaimed, feeling my knuckles from where it touched the metal.

"Bye, Peter.

"Goodbye Bucky!" I walked up to Sam next. "Your homemade spaghetti sauce is delicious," I informed him.

"You bet," He replied, ruffling my hair. "Have a good week kid."

I smiled at him, then walked over to Bruce Banner. I narrowed my eyes, realizing his glasses were dirty. I snatched them off his face and began cleaning them. "Hey!" He exclaimed. "Steve does that to me enough already." I gave his glasses back to him once they were squeaky clean. "Thanks though," He admitted after he put them on.

"No problem. Bye Bruce." I gave the dork a smile, he smiled back. I turned to Clint.

The archer gave me a beaming grin. He pulled me into a hug. "I have a really good prank idea for Thor next weekend," He whispered into my ear so nobody else could hear.

I drew away from him. "Sounds like a plan," I told him, having a delighted look on my face. "See you next week, Clint." He gave me a nod in return.

I looked over at Tony. He stood with his hands in his pockets. I contemplated in my head what I should do. I decided just to give him a handshake, since I remembered what Steve told me when I first met him.

I held my hand out for him to shake, but Mr Stark grabbed it and pulled me into a hug. I was shocked at first but eventually I hugged him back. The Avengers all looked somewhat surprised except Steve. Steve just looked overly happy about it.

"This is nice," I said as we drew apart. Tony just smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Goodbye, kid." I swallowed, trying to hold my emotions down. Jesus I'm such a pussy.

I then turned to Wade, the last one in the room. "Let's go Wa-" I was cut off when Wade lifted me up bridal style. My cheeks heated up with embarrassment but I wrapped my arms around his neck anyways, giggling like a child.

"Let's go Peter Parker!" He exclaimed, running out of the lobby with me in his arms and out onto the street.

I peaked inside the brown paper bag Steve had given me, seeing a bunch of rainbow cookies. I laughed.

I think I finally know where my real home is.
