Chapter 10

You woke up earlier than usual. 2 hours before school, which meant you had 1 hour and 20 minutes to spare. So you got up and walked out the room and headed to the kitchen. You walked in and saw Steve, Tony, and Pepper in there. Which meant the rest of the Avengers will soon be in the kitchen as well.

You ran to your mom and hugged her. "Oh- hi (Y/N). You're up pretty early. That's a shocker" She said making you laugh. 'Hey, I can wake up early if I want to' You signed and she gave you that look.

'Ok fine I can't. But good morning, how was your day yesterday' You asked and Pepper sighed. "Good morning to you, too. But yesterday was one of those days. A very busy day. Sorry I could hang out with you" Pepper responded making you shrug.

'It's ok' You signed and sat down next to her. "Not to be that guy, but you want to tell me what happened yesterday at school?" Tony asked raising his eye brow.

You shook your head. "Where's your translater?" He asked making you shrug. 'I lost it' You signed. "Pepper translate" Tony said and she just glared at her husband.

"She just said she lost it" Pepper translated as she rolled her eyes. She would very much appreciate if Tony learned ASL. Well, of course he knew but no one needed to know that.

"I don't believe that for one god damn second. (Y/N), what happened?" Tony asked raising his voice a bit. "Tony calm down" Steve said handing him his breakfast.

He passed you and Pepper breakfast as well, the Stark trio took a sip in their coffee and placed the mug down at the same time. "You three really are the Starks. Sheesh" Clint said walking in the kitchen

"Now, (Y/N). Explain" Tony said with a calmer voice. You sighed as you looked at your father then at your hands.

"Pepper please translate with every word she says" Tony said and Pepper nodded. She looked at you and smiled and gestured for you to start explaining.

You started signing everything that happened with Pepper repeating everything. "What?!" Nat yelled from the kitchen door way. Hearing what you signed made her angry.

"Kitten, why didn't you tell us sooner? Me and Nat could've killed the girl by now" Clint said making you laugh. You looked at your father's face and flinched at the yelling that came after.

"You're being bullied again?!" He yelled standing up. You hesitated but nodded. "This is exactly why I didn't want you going to a normal school. You always had bullies before and now they never stop. Maybe I should just take you out of the school" Tony said pacing around the kitchen.

"She doesn't want to leave the school. She's happy there no matter the bullies. She has friends now and she doesn't want to lose them" Pepper said looking at your signing.

"Sweetie, why didn't you tell us you were being bullied?" Pepper asked you as she had a very sympathetic look on her face.

"Young Stark is being bullied?"

You looked at the doorway and saw Thor there with a questioned look. "She's being what?!" Bruce yelled clearly angry. You could see a bit of green on his skin. But Natasha was quick to try to calm him down.

"Your translater took me 2 years to make" Tony said kneeling in front of you and you sighed. He was right, it took him a while so now what were you supposed to do?

'I know' You signed. He grabbed your hands and kissed them gently. "I'll try to make a new one as fast as possible alright? I'll take time off from making my suit. I won't go on meetings if it means making you happy" He said and you nodded. You loved your dad so much and he was willingly to take his time off of everything just to make you happy.
