Tears sprung into Sophie's eyes as she realized it had been him the whole time. The one to make her happy when she was down, the one to tell she's being stupid, the one to bring her out of her comfort zone and make her live a little, the one to hold her broken pieces together and help her figure out where they belong, a shoulder to cry on, a person to scream at and someone to joke with. And she was all that to him. but no. she had to like fitz first. What an idiot she was. How could she have been so blind? And then she started dating him and... she yelled at Keefe. She screamed at him for being "insensitive". Why was she so. Fricken. Dumb. She needed Biana, right now. She ran over to her desk and slammed open the drawer rummaging around until she felt the cold glass of her Imparter
"Show me Biana Vacker" Sophie said, the small square quivering in her palm because of how shaky she was
"Hey soph, what's u-" Biana cut herself off as she saw a red faced, clearly upset, Sophie.
"Biana, need to talk right now," Sophie closed her eyes and tried to steady her voice "I think I'm having doubts about fi-" Sophie opened her eyes to see Biana doing the throat cutting motion so violently that her dark brown hair was flying in front of her face "fashion! Fashion. You know me, I can never choose the right leggings" Sophie finished, getting the hint.
"Okay how about you come over and we can go to my room BY OURSELVES" she yelled the last words as if they were for someone else's benefit.
"Ok sounds great. I'll teleport in" Biana nodded, hanging up.

*time skip*

"FINALLY!" Biana yelled as soon as Sophie closed the door to the room
"Finally...?" Sophie prompted, not knowing how the sentence finished.
"You like keefe! You're the last one to know. Took you quite a while huh?" Biana rolled her eyes and plopped down on a beanbag chair motioning for a still upset Sophie to sit.
"How...How did you know? I'm that last one to know? What!?" Sophie asked, crossing her arms and refusing to sit. She needed answers.
"Okay well it wasn't for sure that you liked him but you guys are perfect for each other!" Biana sighed as she made dreamy eyes "and I'm an expert and this kind of stuff! every one else realized it too. You can see it after two seconds of seeing you guys interact."
"Don't you like keefe?" Sophie wondered, raising an eyebrow when Biana turned invisible
"No" she squeaked letting her head turn visible again and looking away.
"Who? Who?" Sophie leaned in front of Biana as her face turned to thin air once again
"Nope! This is about you!" Biana returned looking a lot calmer with her legs crossed
"Fine, but this is sooo happening later" Sophie sat down next to Biana Turing the chair so that they were across from each other "WHAT DO I DO?"
"Ah, young grass hopper. First break up with my brother" Biana explained calmly.
"Um, sure but...how?" Sophie asked, knowing it was easier said then done
"Tell him you found someone else"
"He would murder me" Sophie was only slightly joking, and that was kind of nerve racking.
"Sure, but you have to, unless you want to be a cheater" Biana said, obviously trying to challenge her
"Okay saying I can do that and live to tell the tale, then what?" Sophie agreed
"Sleepover and an intense game of truth or dare" Biana said it in a bored tone, like it was super obvious.
"Fine whatever, it's just my happiness -and life- on the line, who cares right?"
"Then BAM you and keefe live happily ever after" Biana squealed, her fan girl side kicking in. "okay faze one, lets get this going. FITZ!" Biana screamed
"No, no, no, no. Biana!" Sophie mumbled and turned to find Biana gone. Sophie lunged at the chair, tackling  air. "NO!" Sophie yelled looking around to find even the slightest trace of her best girl friend
"Um, you okay Sophie?" Fitz asked popping his head in the door "I heard someone shout my name"
"Yeah, there's actually something I need to talk to you about" Sophie closed her eyes as fitz stepped fully into the room, closing the door. It was now or never, and Sophie knew it.
"Wait a sec, why is Biana not in her own room but you are?" Fitz asked, looking around
"That's... not important. I have something serious to say" Sophie said, wanting to beat around the bush for a minute "you know I like you, right?" She asked in more of a whisper
"I would hope so, we are dating" Fitz said, his tone still light and joking
"Well I think... I like you in more of a friend way" she was trying to break it to him lightly, but he caught on quick
"Are you breaking up with me?" He asked quietly, his voice cracking along the edges. Sophie had prepaid for anger. Screaming. Insults, maybe even some punching. But this broke her heart, to hear him in this weak state, like he was a small wounded animal. They were still friends, after all. Well, she hoped they could be.
"I'm sorry Fitz, and I know a lot of people say this after a break up.... but I really would like to still be friends. I hope things to be cool between us, I do really like you, just not romantically anymore, and I actually have a suggestion..."
"Well? What is it?" He was unable to look her in the eyes, which made it worse.
" I think this weekend, after we have a little space to ourselves, we should have a sleepover, with all our friends. That way we can break the news to them but still have some fun and be in a group setting. Plus we haven't been able to act like kids in forever" she pointed out
"Yeah," he said, his voice getting a fraction happier "just like we used to. We haven't had much time to do those fun little things anymore, but I think that sounds okay." He said
Well at least he's a little less down in the dumps Sophie thought and we have a chance to do something fun to take his mind off of it. Sounds like a win win.
"Okay.I'm going to go home now, and Fitz?" She waited for him to at least look at her general area "I just want to let you know that it isn't your fault and if you ever stoped hanging out with me I would go back into zombie-Sophie mode, okay?" He nodded and looked away, starting too the door, but right as Sophie glittered away she swear she saw him smile.
