Sophie stayed up all night thinking about her date the next day. This had never happened with Fitz, but she welcomed the new feeling of excitement. She did find a few good hours of sleep, during which she dreamed of only Keefe. She woke up the next morning with a plan- she even had an outfit picked until she remembered the dare that Keefe had given her. The one that had changed her relationship with Keefe and Fitz. For the better and the worse.
"Show me Biana vacker" Sophie said into her imparter with a sigh
"Hey, what's up? It's not another identity crisis, is it" Biana answered, smiling at her own joke.
"Well you know how last night Keefe dared me to let you dress me up? Well we have a date at three and the dare still stands so..." Sophie trailed off looking down. It took Biana less then a second to squeal and then launch into a long winded list of things she needed.
"You should have given me more time! Ug I'll be right there just let me pack up" She  finally ended the list. Sophie hung up on Biana and sat on the bed, waiting, and waiting, and waiting. turns out 'I'll be right there' is a half hour and a 23 seconds. Yes, Sophie had counted.
"Lets get down to business. Again should have given me more time!" Biana looked Sophie up and down setting down her two heavy looking bags.
"It's 11 am. I called you at 10:30 and my dates at 3" Sophie argued.
"Well, whatever" Biana responded, looking through her bad, and got to work. The whole time Sophie was getting her makeover they gossiped. From how things went with Keefe after Biana had left to how hard it was not talking to someone you live with
"You really don't need to do that for me..." Sophie said after Biana had explained in great detail how yesterday's dinner had gone without talking to Fitz
"I knew you would say that. But Sophie the things he said to you and Keefe, it makes me wish I didn't know him, none the less him be my brother! You're too nice, and forgive and forget too easily" Biana brushed on Sophie's eye shadow as she said her last words
"speaking of forgetting, I haven't let go of this mysterious boy your crushing on" Sophie waggled her eyebrows at Biana
"Oh um..I-I LIKE TAM" the words cam out in a rush with almost no space in between them and Biana disappeared afterwards
"You can't do that when you're holding something you know" Sophie said pointing to the floating brush
"Dumb makeup!" Biana reappeared scowling at the eyeshadow brush in her hand
"Wow, I never thought you would ever say that." Sophie said with fake concern in her voice
"Me either" Biana looked down at the brush and hugged it, whispering apologies
"Well anyway, TAM?" Sophie said making Biana jump at the sudden shout
"What about him?" Biana said, being melodramatic with a high pitched tone-almost like a toddler
"Nothing" Sophie said with a grin "oh shoot it's almost 2:45 and I'm not even dressed!"
"Well it really matters where your going in order for me to pick out an outfit, so where's this date gonna be?" Biana asked, finishing Sophie's makeup with one last stroke and starting to walk into the closet
"Gloaming valley" Sophie said "its the time of year the kelpies beach and kelpies always remind me of Keefe- for multiple reasons" she pointed to a cork board filled with memories of her and her friends, all the prattles pins Keefe gave her when she was in the healing center were in a corner.
"Ok first off, that's absolutely adorable. Second, no fair! I've always wanted to see the kelpies! And third that means you need an adventure outfit...." Biana trailed off, returning to the closet and started to look around

*time skip to a while after 3*

Sophie rushed to the door and knocked, three quick bangs that sounded rushed, mostly because they were. please be Keefe please be Keefe please
"Keefe!" Sophie said as the door to the shores of solace opened to revel a nervous looking boy in a simple outfit of a navy blue jerkin and grey pants "Im so, so sorry I'm late. You remember the dare about Biana being my stylist for a week? well she went a little over board and-what?" Sophie said finally looking at Keefes face and seeing him slacked jawed and wide eyed "is there something wrong? I knew Biana did too much!"
"No, you look.....perfect" Keefe looked at Sophie's eyes and saw the gold flecked black eyeliner to bring out the small golden dots in her eyes, the light red eyeshadow noticeable but not super intense, and it matched her her tunic perfectly. It was the same red with little flowers and beads embroidered onto the sash which was tight fitting around her waist, the tunic itself was long and flowing getting more see through as it got lower ending just before her knees on top and black leggings with lace up boots to top it all off. Sophie always looked stunning but this was a whole new level of wow
"It's- I have no words to explain what you look like to me" Keefe stumbled
"Aw, thanks Keefe" Sophie said, taking his hand and pulling him out of the doorway "but you can stop staring now, seriously"
"Huh? Oh, oh yeah! So where are we going?" Keefe asked finally snapping out of it. Sophie just smiled as she pulled out her pathfinder and kept smiling as the light whisked them away. they glittered into gloaming valley, the white sands shifting beneath their feet with the light water lapping near by, the sounds of waves blending into the sounds of the barks from the kelpies
"You did not!" Keefe said like a kid in the candy store "You know I've always wanted to go! But my dad would never let me..."
"Lets not talk about that" Sophie said trying to get back some earlier excitement " wow look ones coming on shore!" Sophie said pointing. They had a fantastic time for a long while, talking, laughing, and smiling, for a few periods they would just lean on each other holding hands and not talk, just watch. That was until they saw someone else leap onto the beach. Once the figures focused it was impossible to mistake the two dark haired teal eyed elfs coming towards them.
