"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" WE ALL SCREAM as johnny enters his dorm. by 'we all' i mean. hayden, nadia, annie, brandon, and mandla... just the close friends. he grins then looks around seeing the dorm not decorated at all.
"wow what a great surprise" he says sarcastically
"shut up, you will open your gifts here then we will all go for dinner" i announce
he smiles again and sits on the couch infront of the table which holds the presents.
first he opens the one brandon, mandla and hayden got together, a louis vuitton belt. he loved it so much. next he opens the the one nadia and annie got together, dolce and gabana purfume. he thanks them all, but i say,
"time for mine!" i go over and grab mine which is on the table and put it on his lap. he rips open the package and his mouth drops. i got him two david dobrik 'clickbait' hoodies. the last one he had grew out of him.
"thank you so much" he says holding up the red one.
i smile so hard, i love seeing him this happy. he puts on the black one and thanks everyone. we get up to go for dinner, before we leave johnny comes up to me and gives me a side hug. "thank you"
"no problem" i smile.
we all decided to take two cars, the girls went in nadia's and the guys went in johnny's.
we arrived at the semi-fancy burger place. we make our way to our big table and we take our seats, mandla and nadia beside me and johnny infront of me.
"oh you know what would be fun!" mandla says
"what?"
"you and johnny should set eachother up on date" mandla suggests like he is so genius
me and johnny give eachother an uncomfortable look.
"come on! it'll help you get over eachother faster" he pleads
i look at john, "i'm down"
he sighs and says, "me too"
the night goes by in a flash, we end up laughing way too much. after dessert we take a lot of pictures in the parking lot.
"i still can't believe you're an adult" i tell johnny
"me too, like yesterday i was twelve" he responds with a chuckle.
we all drive back to the college and johnny once again thanks us all for tonight. i wave everyone goodbye and me and nadia go back to our room.
i text johnny before going to sleep
kenzie i'm saying it again, happy birthdayyy child
