Jungkook-Age Difference

Y/n POV
"Ah Kookie, I'm scared to meet your parents. I really hope they like me. I  want them to approve of me.", I said nervously.

"Hey it's okay babe. Don't worry too much. I'm sure they will love you.", he consoled me.

"I hope so."

Tonight was the night I was finally meeting my boyfriend's parents. Was I scared? Yes. I was. Very.

I kept fidgeting with the hem of my skirt, still nervous as heck. Jungkook came behind me and gave me a tight back hug.

"Babe. Calm down okay?", he gave me a bunny smile.

I slowly smiled.

"Yeah. They will like me. They will like me."

(Time skip)

We finally arrived at the house.

Jungkook knocked the door, and a couple answered the door.

"Kookie! I missed you so much. My little bean has grown up!", the lady pinched Jungkook's cheeks.

"Eomma, stop.", Jungkook whined, his cheeks turned pink with embarrassment.

"Who is this lovely lady with you, Kookie-ah?", the man replied.

"Appa. This is my girlfriend, Y/n."

"So this is the girl you've been going on and on about!", Jungkook's mom replied.

I looked at him teasingly.

He just looked away and cleared his throat.

"How about we go inside eomma?"

"Of course! I made a bunch of food for you guys! Come in, come in!"

We went inside the house, and i saw many pictures hanging on the walls. Most of them were Jungkook as a baby and his parents.

Unknowingly, I smiled. He was so adorable back then and still adorable to this day.

I snapped out of my trance, and walked to the dining table where everyone was already waiting. I sat down in my seat and Jungkook's parents started asking questions.

"So how long have you been dating Jungkook, Y/n?", his mom asked.

"We have been dating for about 9 months now.", I answered politely.

His father shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

"You have been dating her for 9 months without telling us??", I could tell he was getting angry.

His mom grabbed him by the arm.

"Calm down honey."

"NO. HE DIDN'T TELL US A SINGLE WORD ABOUT THIS. HIS OWN PARENTS. HE KEPT THIS SECRET FROM US FOR ABOUT A YEAR."

He suddenly turned to me.

"YOU. How old are you?"

I scrunched my eyebrow in confusion. Why did he ask? I nervously answered.

"I- I am 18."

His eyes widened and he grew even more mad. Steam was basically pouring out of his ears at this point.

"JUNGKOOK IS DATING AN EIGHTEEN YEAR OLD? I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS. HES DATING SOMEONE WHO IS 4 YEARS YOUNGER THAN HIM."

I looked at Jungkook. He was silent this whole time. He seemed to be getting mad as well.

"Appa. I love her a lot. It doesnt matter about age. As long as we both love each other. That rules out age. I don't care if she is younger than me."

His father's jaw dropped in disbelief.

I didn't want Jungkook to get in trouble by his own father and didn't want to create more problems so I ran out the front door.

Behind me, I could hear my boyfriend calling my name.

Jungkook POV

While I was talking to my dad, I heard the front door open and shut. I knew Y/n had run out, so without a second thought, I ran after her and called her name, ignoring my father's screaming for me to get back inside.

I could see her running somewhere and sprinted to her. Luckily, I caught her before I lost track of her.

I grabbed her wrist and made her turn toward me.

"Babe-"

"Jungkook. I love you with my whole heart. You know that right?"

I nodded.

"But that's your own father. I don't want for you and your dad to be on bad terms, all because of me. He's right. I'm only eighteen, while you are twenty-two. That can't work Jungkook-ah."

"B-but I only love you Y/n. Baby. I honestly don't care if my own dad hates me for dating you. We have each other. Please. I love you too much to let you go. He can kick me, punch me, scream at me, anything. Just please don't break up with me."

She was definitely shocked, but she smiled and hugged me very tight.

"I love you too Jungkook. More than you know."

I chuckled.

"Trust me babe. I know. Do you want to go get some ice cream?"

"Sure! Let's go."

Ik I probably should've created a more dramatic age gap. Oh well...
