Chapter 10: "School Festival Day 2 Part 1: Like your dad."

-Lucy's POV-

"Arigatou Gousaimasu (Thank you very much)" I said as the costumer exited our classroom or café.

Today's the second day of our school festival with the average costumers and buyers as usual.

"Lu-chan let's go!" Levy-chan called me. Oh yeah, lunch break.

"We'll take it from here guys." Waren assured me. I smiled then said. "Ja~!" And rush towards my best friend's side. At least someone had to stoped me.

"Luce!"

It turn around and was facing Natsu. I did my best to smile and to restrain myself on doing something which... I don't know. "Yes Natsu?" Plastic.

He smiled. "Well, since Lea isn't going to eat lunch with me," He stuttered rubbing the back of his neck. I raise an eyebrow at him.

"I- umm," he continued to stutter again and Levy-chan and me started to give unremarkable faces at him. Who wouldn't? He was all 'umm' here and there.

Since it was getting nowhere I have to break the ice. "I guess you don't have something to say," I turn my back on him. "See you later then-" "Ah, chotto (Ah wait)," He said ahold of my hand.

What's up with this guy? I thought. No blushing this time and yup I gave up on him last chapters ago. I just realize that I'm just wasting my time changing myself into a moody little student from the old me.

"Make it quick Natsu my stomach's growling." I heard Levy-chan whine in annoyance. So Natsu took a deep breath and said this rapidly:

"IwanttocomewithyouguysandhavelunchwithyousinceLeaandIhavedifferentschedule." After that, he enhaled and exhaled.

Another confuse look was thrown at him from me and Levy-chan. "I don't understand even one word in that sentence Natsu." I stated.

Natsu face palm and said. "Nevermind. Let's go." With that he step out of the classroom and went to the direction of the cafeteria a head of us.

Levy-chan and I just shrugged and followed the dimwit. Who invited him anyway? I questioned my thoughts.

-After Lunch-

"Wah! What a meal!" Natsu remarked with pleasure as he rubbed his tummy. "To bad the cafeteria ran out of food."

We ingnore him and started to walk at the busy pathway to the quadrangle. While coming closer someone seems familiar but I couldn't get the face though. I squinted my eyes to see better and their! I knew it...

"Hey Levy-chan," I called to get her attention. Then I pointed towards the direction I was staring at awhile ago. "Isn't that-"

"Bee-chan!!"

And she beat me to it. I watched her running through out the crowd apologizing to the people she bumped into.

"Where's Levy?" Natsu asked approaching me. But before I could answer-

"LU-CHAN!" Levy-chan called me while dragging him with her and stopped infront in me.

"Lu-chan," She said again. "Guess who?" Levy-chan then push the blonde haired male infront of me. He almost stumbled but controled his balance.

I froze. I don't know what to do. So I did this: "Uhm... Hi Sting." Wrong! It made my heart flutter!! Kuzo! The hell heart!

"He-Hey Lucy." He said blushing? I swear I saw him blushing! Then we continued to stare at each other like complete amateurs. But someone interupted our little reunion.

"Ok break it up you two!" Natsu exclaimed shoving us apart. "You," He pointed his finger at Sting. "Before you gave googly eyes at Luce you have to answer to me first!" Wow. Hey I didn't blush okay!

Natsu turn to me. "And you, stop flirting with him cause his not that worth for you!"

"Natsu calm down." Levy-chan held his shoulder but Natsu spank it away. "I'm out of here." He spat out and leaving us three dumbfounded.

"Looks like someone's jelous." Somebody said. We turn around to found out who he or she was.

"Rufus!" Sting exclaimed. "I've been looking for you. Where's Rouge?" He asked.

"Looking for Yukino." Rufus said shrugging and continued to sip his drink.

"Argh! Really? I told you to keep an eye on them." Sting growled in fustraition and while pinching the bridge of his nose. Turning to us he said. "I'm sorry guys but I have to find my friends."

"It's Okay. I have to catch up to Natsu." I said leaving them all.

"Lu-chan matte (wait)!" That was the last thing I heard after I run out finding for Natsu. One place is only in my mind and I know for sure he is there.

I reached my destination at the back of the campus. The place where we ate our first lunch together and the place I first fall inlove on him. *Thump Thump* Stop it!

"Natsu?" I called out peeking. I was right! There he was sitting at the ground and staring at the empty space.

I quietly sat beside him and stared at the direction he was looking at. It took minutes until he spoked.

"Do I look like your dad?"

"What kind of question is that?" Asked him confused and restrained myself from laughing.

This time he faced me and said. "I mean the way uhm, I defend you earlier."

I giggled. "That wasn't protecting! That was ruining my chance on Stin-"

I quickly covered my hands and realize what I said! Darn! I blush hard. I hope Natsu didn't get what I just said.

"I get it!" Kuzo!!! "So you think I wouldn't guess it?"

I nodded.

"Now that's just insulting. I'm not dense you know!"

Yeah right!
