You watched quietly as Naruto struggled in the ropes tied around him and the wooden pole. You felt kinda bad honestly and could hope for the best outcome for this. Sasuke and Sakura sat on each side of him while you sat beside Sakura.

Kakashi stood in front of the four of you.

"Oh-oh, your stomachs are growling. By the way, about this exercise... Well, there's no need for you guys to go back to the Academy." He explained and for a moment there faces lit up, you crossed your arms and slouched against the wooden pole behind you.

"What? I... All I did was lay unconscious. Is that okay?" Sakura said confused and you turned your head to her.

"Give yourself more credit than that, Sakura." You whispered and she smiled, jumped up and cheered in glee.

"Then.. Then.. That means the three of us-" Naruto started happily and Kakashi smiled under his mask.

"Yes. The three of you..." He trailed off a bit, none of it being heard by Natuto or Sakura.

"Must quit being Ninja!" He yelled over the two, taking them by shock. Naruto and Sakura went quiet, Sasuke glaring at the man over closed fists.

"Quit being Ninja?! What do you mean?! Uh, well it's true, we weren't able to take the bells.. But why do we have to quit being Ninja?!" Naruto ranted on his arms and legs flailing around.

"That's because you squirts who don't have the qualifications to become Ninja," Kakashi replied critically causing Sasuke to jump up and charge at him. You and Sakura yelled at the ravenette but he didn't listen, getting pinned by Kakashi to the floor.

"I'm saying you're squirts." He repeated calmly.

"Don't step on Sasuke!" Sakura yelled but Kakashi dismissed her.

"Are you kids thinking that being a Ninja is easy? Huh?" He asked and they stayed quiet.

"Why do you think you're doing this exercise in teams?" He asked and Sakura paused before asking. "Huh?! What do you mean?"

"To put it simply.. It's as if you guys have no understanding of the answer to this test." Kakashi said in an annoyed tone.

"Answer..?" Naruto trailed off, confused.

"Yes. The answer that determines passing or failing of this test." You sighed and started getting annoyed yourself that they didn't get it by now.

"That's.. What I've wanted to ask about for a while now," Sakura said and Kakashi scoffed.

"Man, are you guys brainless or what? Don't you get the meaning of the three-man squad?" He said and Naruto got fed up with the hints.

"Jeez!! What of three people to a squad?!" He yelled and Kakashi stared at him.

"That's.. teamwork!" Kakashi replied and you sighed saying a finally to yourself.

"You mean, working together?" Sakura asked and you snorted at the question.
