Gameweek 5

The international break's over and for sure everyone's glad but I personally enjoy an international break. Gives my mind some rest from this nerve-wrecking game. It's also a good opportunity to check on players who feature in lesser games and the ones that are in good form. The only downside is the injuries for example Pogba was pulled back from the France Squad. The international break had some fantastic games. England and Portugal scored 9 times in 2 games while Spain, France and the Netherlands also winning their respective games.

With all focus shifting to Gameweek 5, the international break has made it to me clearer as to which players I should sign if I use my wildcard.

Players under the lens for Gameweek 5...

1.AFC Bournemouth
M. Fraser (7.3), F. Wilson (7.8)
Vs Everton
Ryan Fraser's form worries me. He started once in the international break vs Russia but he did manage to get an assist in Bournemouth's last match to Leicester. The cherries often played well against mid-table teams last season and I hope they do the same against Everton. Like I said last gameweek if it's a Fraser assist, it's a Wilson goal. Everton have conceded in their last 3 games in all competitions. Eddie Howe needs to do more to push Bournemouth from the table where they sit at 15th.

2.Arsenal
D. Maitland-Niles (5.1), M. Pepe (9.4), F. Aubameyang (11.0)
Vs Watford
Watford has sacked Garcia but that doesn't have to mean good news to Arsenal right? Watford could either continue their woeful perform and stick to the bottom of the table or provide its fans with a new look. Possible clean sheet for Arsenal? Not so sure about that as they've kept only one clean sheet so far. With Lacazette out injured, this could be a good time for Nicolas Pepe to step up. Also, Aubameyang could feature on the score sheet as he's already grabbed 3 goals in 4 games.

3.Aston Villa
M. McGinn (5.6), M. Grealish (6.0), F. Wesley (6.0)
Vs West Ham United
At 5.6 McGinn appears to be a safe bet if you want to go hard in midfield and attack while having a cheap player to back you up. McGinn grabbed an assist vs Russia for Scotland. Grealish and Wesley are other options if you want to have Villa players in the team. But I'd be a bit cautious as West Ham seem to be finding their feet.

4.Brighton
F. Maupay (6.0)
Vs Burnley
The seagulls were smashed by Manchester City by 4 goals in their last outing. They now face Burnley who don't seem to be shy in taking a go at the opposition goal. Brighton have used 3 in the front with Andone, Trossard, Maupay and Murray rotating. Maupay has had 8 shots inside the penalty area and could be a possible differential at 6 million.

5.Burnley
F. Barnes (6.8)
Vs Brighton
I think Ashley Barnes should start vs Brighton despite being doubtful for the game to Brighton. Barnes has scored 4 times in as many games and I think the blank vs Liverpool shouldn't be much of worry since Brighton haven't kept a single clean sheet.

6.Chelsea
M. Mount (6.4), F. Abraham (7.2)
Vs Wolves
Chelsea face a daunting task at the Molineux as they face gritty Wolves. Emerson has been ruled out for the trip as he sustained an injury on international duty which could pave way for Marcos Alonso to start. Mason Mount had some good minutes for England as well vs Bulgaria and Kosovo. Mount could be Chelsea's X factor vs Wolves while Abraham who's scored 4 times in his last two games could trouble Wolves as they miss out on Wily Boly who saw red at Everton.

7.Crystal Palace
Vs Tottenham
I'd not look at Palace players as they face Spurs and wolves in their next two games. I'm not fully convinced despite their last two victories.

8.Everton
D. Digne (6.2), M. Sigurdsson (7.8), M. Richiarlison (7.9), F. Tosun (5.8)
Vs Bournemouth
The Toffees beat Wolves 3-2 in which Richiarlison scored twice. Digne has been Everton most consistent player this season while Sigurdsson could be a differential. Tosun scored twice for Turkey vs Moldova. Moise Kean has shown promise but I feel Marco Silva will start Tosun based on form. Besides Lossl, Everton have no fresh injuries.

9.Leicester
M. Maddison (7.1), M. Tielemans (6.4), F. Vardy (8.9)
Vs Manchester United
Tielemans and Vardy were on the score sheet last GW while Maddison has been in great form too. Leicester travel to Old Trafford and appear to be confident. Maddison and Tielemans will put the ManUtd midfield to a test as they miss out on star player Pogba. Vardy will go head to head with former teammate Maguire and I believe the ferocious forward as the edge over Maguire.

10.Liverpool
M. Mane (11.5), M. Salah (12.5), F. Firmino (9.5)
Vs West Ham
Allison and Keita remain sidelined for the trip to West Ham. Champions League could be a huge factor on the amount of minutes Liverpool's front three play. The Champions League games next week also mean that Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea will have the same issue.

11.Manchester City
M. De Bruyne (9.8), M. D. Silva (7.5), M. Sterling (12.3), F. Aguero (12.1)
Vs Norwich
I wanted to put Zinchenko and Cancelo but Pukki won't let me. Aymeric Laporte will be out for 6 months. Manchester City have fire power in abundance. The above four mentioned are the hottest out there. KDB bagged 1 goal and 3 assists, Sterling - 2 goals and 3 assists while Aguero didn't feature for Argentina which means he'll be fully fit and ready to go for Norwich.

12.Manchester United
M. James (6.2), F. Rashford (8.7)
Vs Leicester City
Manchester United face a tricky task vs Leicester as they miss out on Pogba and Martial, while Wan-Bissaka and Lingard are doubtful. Rashford had decent games for England but didn't to score (again!). Sancho's rise could put his position at risk at jeopardy for the national team. Daniel James scored a beauty for Wales vs Belarus, continuing his fine form.

13.Newcastle United
Nada
Vs Liverpool

14.Norwich
F. Pukki (7.0)
Vs Manchester City
Pukki won the August Player Of The Month. He also scored in both the matches for Finland vs Greece and Italy. Norwich face a tough task vs Manchester City but their attacking style of play may have surely made Pep think twice. #ParbreakingPukki

15.Sheffield United
F. McGoldrick (5.5)
Vs Southampton
A team that plays with passion can always be dangerous. McGoldrick scored vs Switzerland, a team that can be gritty defensively. I hope he does the same vs Southampton who can block oppositions attack by parking the bus.

16.Southampton
M. Boufal (5.5)
Vs Sheffield United
Southampton drew to Manchester United last gameweek but will be more flexible vs Sheffield in their next game. Redmond remains sidelined for this game too which puts the onus on Boufal who could test Henderson from afar.

17.Tottenham Hotspurs
D. Rose (5.5), M. Eriksen (8.8), M. Son (9.5), F. Kane (11.0)
Vs Crystal Palace
Kane and Rose had fantastic games for England while Eriksen scored twice and assisted once for Denmark. Lo Celso and Ndombele won't feature vs Palace due to injuries while Dele Alli is back and could start.

18.Watford
M. Hughes (5.5)
Vs Arsenal
Don't really know how Watford will play since Javi Garcia has been sacked. QuiQue Flores the new manager will have to work on his defence first thing. Other than that, fingers crossed. Hope they beat Arsenal.

I'm running short on time so here are only the names of The Hammers and Wolves players

19.West Ham
F. Haller (7.5)
Vs Aston Villa

20.Wolves
F. Jimenez (7.4)
Vs Chelsea
