DOUBLE GAMEWEEK IS HEREEEEEEEE!!!!!!! I’m certain all of us will somehow have three Liverpool players and at least opt for one West Ham player either by taking a hit or by having saved transfers over the previous gameweeks. A little recap of GW23, Salah finally scored against Manchester United which saw the Reds beat the Red Devils 2-0 while Manchester City were held back by 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace which was pretty shocking. What wasn’t shocking was to see Arsenal draw against Sheffield United and to also watch Chelsea, Spurs and Wolves drop points too. Gameweek 24 could be the best Gameweek to bounce back, one) some fixtures seem quite favourable and two, making the right acquisitions. Let’s take a look at the ‘One’s to Watch’ for GW24.

1. AFC Bournemouth
Vs Brighton (H)
-

2. Arsenal
F. Martinelli (4.5), F. Lacazette (9.3)
Vs Chelsea (A)
Having drew to Sheffield I’m not sure what the dressing room must be like. Arsenal keep coming short and without their world-class striker in Aubameyang, the Gunners seem to be an east catch. Arsenal lost to Chelsea in the reverse fixture which saw the Blues make a comeback. Also, the Gunners have a poor away record and many players are underperforming. I’d still stick with Lacazette, solely because Chelsea are capable of making comical errors at the back while Martinelli seems to be a better option as the young Brazilian seems much more braver and hungrier while attacking.

3. Aston Villa
M. Grealish (6.6)
Vs Watford (H)
Love Island is back and I’m pretty sure Jack Grealish has got John Terry’s head turned. The Villa captain has simply been phenomenal this season and if he keeps playing the way he is, the midfielder is certain to be called up by Gareth Southgate for the Euro’s. Grealish scored his 7th goal of the season last week and has a total of 12 goal contributions in 21 games.

4. Brighton and Hove Albion
Vs Bournemouth (A)
-

5. Burnley
Vs Manchester United (A)
-

6. Chelsea
M. Willian (7.2), F. Abraham (7.8)
Vs Arsenal (H)
The last these two played against Arsenal, they both played crucial roles in the final third. Arsenal continue to play poorly in away games and like Chelsea make comical errors while defending. This is not only a London Derby but it’s also the El Comico. Chelsea could make goals rain but Tammy Abraham will have to find mojo. The duo together have 17 goals amongst themselves and shouldn’t find it difficult trying to dismantle Arsenal. But one thing you definitely need to keep in mind is that this is a Derby and both the teams will take this game even more seriously.

7. Crystal Palace
M. Zaha (6.8), F. Ayew (5.0)
Vs Southampton (H)
Wilfred Zaha’s shot was deflected by Fernandinho in the dying minutes of the game vs Manchester City which saw the Roy Hodgson’s men claim a crucial point. Zaha can be lethal but I don’t feel like his heart is entirely in the game since he wants to move. As for Jordan Ayew, he makes it to my GW24 Differentials. The Ghanaian forward has 6 goals and an assist this season. This fixture could be a massive opportunity for both clubs to clinch 3 points and Ayew tends to score in important games.

8. Everton
D. Digne (5.8), F. Calwert-Lewin (6.0)
Vs Newcastle United (H)
Everton have kept 3 clean-sheets in their last 3 home games and Lucas Digne is fully fit. The French left-back was struggling a few weeks ago but he could prove vital for GW24. With Rashford injured, managers will be looking for alternatives and because of his form Calvert-Lewin could make a good replacement. Another bonus as to having him is that Everton play Watford and Crystal Palace in their next three games.

9. Leicester City
M. Maddison (7.7), M. Perez (6.1), F. Vardy (10.0)
Vs West Ham (H)
Jamie Vardy’s penalty miss proved costly as it earned me a 0 and I had captained him too. The Foxes have only 3 points in their last three games having lost the previous two. Brendan Rodgers will be looking for redemption and a bounce and what better way to do that then play West Ham at home. Like last week, I’d still choose Perez over Maddison as Perez seems more dangerous and as for Vardy, I’ve got faith in my captain. (Joking, gonna kept a Liverpool player of course).

10. Liverpool
GK. Allison (6.1), D. Alexander-Arnold (7.6), D. Van Dijk (6.4), M. Mane (12.4), M. Salah (12.4), F. Firmino (9.5)
Vs Wolves (A), West Ham (A)
Liverpool have kept around 6-7 clean sheets on the run, I can’t remember the exact number. Besides Allison and Van Dijk, I personally feel that the rest of the players could be rotated but they’re all absolute beasts.

11. Manchester City
M. Mahrez (8.5), M. De Bruyne (10.7), F. Aguero (11.9)
Vs Sheffield United (A)
I’m very excited about this game. Sheffield United vs Manchester City at the Bramall Lane! City will have a t
ough time and WILL concede which won’t be surprising. City do have the fire power to comeback though and two of City’s in-form players in Mahrez and Aguero could get on the scoresheet tonight. Aguero has 5 goals in his last two games and if you have the funds, please do opt for him. Kevin De Bruyne is still an untouchable in my team, because you never know when he’s going to pull the rabbit out of the hat. The Belgian has 7 goals and 14 assists this season.

12. Manchester United
D. Williams (4.1), M. Martial (7.9), F. Greenwood (4.4)
Vs Burnley (H)
Martial rocketed a shot which most of us would have expected him to score against Liverpool. With Rashford out, the Frenchman will be the clubs ace right now. Greenwood and Williams are the other players that make it to my Differentials. Mason Greenwood has 9 goals in all competitions for United this season and Brandon Williams has managed to keep Luke Shaw on the bench. Williams poses an attacking threat and often makes forward runs in the final third.

13. Newcastle United
Vs Everton (A)
-

14. Norwich City
M. Cantwell (5.0)
Vs Spurs (A)
Todd Cantwell has 6 goals for the Canaries this season and can take a decent shot at goal. All Spurs have to do is be disciplined at the back tonight or they could drop down the table as they haven’t scored in their last 3 games.

15. Sheffield United
M. Fleck (5.0)
Vs Manchester City (H)
I KNOW that Sheffield are going to make it extremely difficult for Manchester City. Fleck scored a fantastic goal last week and seems to be enduring a good run. Pep will have to keep an eye on the midfielder but honestly it could be anyone scoring for the Blades.

16. Southampton
F. Ings (7.0)
Vs Crystal Palace (A)
With Rashford and Kane injured, Southgate will definitely have to take a look at Danny Ings. Palace have conceded in each of their last 3 home games and The Saints have been playing some impressive football having scored 11 goals in 6 games, not bad for a bottom half team.

17. Tottenham Hotspur
D. Aurier (5.1), M. Son (9.9)
Vs Norwich City (H)
4 games without a win, 3 games without a goal, the pressure is on for Jose Mourinho. Spurs kept a clean sheet last week and I Benched Aurier. I’m a bit afraid of Pukki and Cantwell preventing Spurs from a keeping a clean sheet tonight to be honest. Spurs really need to put in extra effort and Son will be their key man. There were periods last season when Spurs had to play without Kane and Son would step up and I’m expecting him to do the same now or he’ll be turned into a left back by Mourinho.

18. Watford
Vs Aston Villa (A)
-

19. West Ham United
M. Snodgrass (5.2), F. Haller (7.0)
Vs Leicester (A), Liverpool (H)
It may be a double gameweek but West Ham have two difficult fixtures and hence I wouldn’t force anyone to look at this team. But since it’s a Double GW and you wouldn’t want to miss out on a great opportunity I’d go for Snodgrass and Haller. Haller has been pretty inconsistent but if he does manage to score in one of those games, you could at least get 6 points plus 2 for another game or in other words 2 chances are better than one and Haller has two games.  Snodgrass has provided with attacking returns for every alternative GW since GW19.

20. Wolverhampton Wanderers
M. Traore (5.7), F. Jimenez (7.5)
Vs Liverpool (H)
Both Traore and Jimenez picked 10 plus points in GW23 but face Liverpool in their next game. The two most obvious coming into play will be 1)Molineux and 2) Best performances against the Top 6. The duo really make good signings for Value and yes Jimenez for Rashford could be a fine replacement.
