Chapter 16 - Family Dinners Never End Well (Pt 1)

(HA! I came up with a chap name, Family Dinners Never End Well (Pt1) just in case you can't read it all. So they back if I can come up with one. Also can I like have him pleassssseeee!!!!)

I ended up sleeping in Colby's hoodie, which gave me to wear the morning before. Saying it was comfortable would be an understatement, but you get the idea.

The morning went by in the blink of an eye and it was already 2 pm, nearly time to get ready to go out. And yes, getting ready 3 and a half hours before we are meant to leave seems extensive but I'm a girl soo.... deal with it.

Ashley, Chloe, Skylar and Grace were all on face time with me. Helping me pick an outfit, as well as gossiping about different things.

"So, you know the cheerleader I was talking about at the pool party sleepover?" Grace brought up and I hummed in response "Well she may or may not be my girlfriend now!" She squealed and I couldn't help but let a massive smile break onto my face.

"Oh my Goodness!!" I shouted with joy.

"You've been waiting, like, 20 years to get with someone" Skylar laughed.

"She's not even lived that long!" Ash pointed out with a big smile and Chloe nodded with a chuckle.

"Exactly!!" Skylar persisted and we all laughed.

"We could all have a... Whatever a five pair date would be!" Grace suggested, "You guys are free next week right?"

"But Y/n doesn't even have a date!" Skylar pouted.

"Neither does Ashley" I batted back.

"She's right, Pizza guy... Let's just say likes dolls wayyy too much"

"Ewww" Chloe and I exclaimed, our faces scrunching up in disgust.

"Whimps" Skylar mumbled and I glared at her.

"Oh, so how's you're love life, hmm?" Ash exclaimed slightly annoyed.

"He dumped me. I was sad for like a day, but only because I don't like being dumped. Our relationship was going downhill anyway" I laughed at Skylar's answer. (I'm just gonna mention this line came directly from my friend's mouth when we were talking about exs I-  if that doesn't tell you what type of girl she idk what will XD)

Grace letting out a giggle at the action, "Anyway, we could just go as a group... Thing and you guys can meet her" The brunette shrugged.

"Sorry, but I'll be packing most of that week" I explained. Getting up from my dresser stall and going to my closet, sifting through the options of clothes.

"Where are you going?" Ashley asked.

"Levi has invited me to live with him for a bit" I answered, pulling a lacy black dress from the wardrobe.

"Doesn't he live in LA?" Skylar questioned.

"Mhmm" I hummed. "Now someone help me decide what to wear!" I moved on, planting the phone in a position so they could see both me and my closet.

"Lace black dress, white leather jacket, small fishnets and white combat boots" Chloe rolled off, not sparing a glance as she texting on her second phone. Fashion came easy to the girl, which wasn't surprising seeing as her mother is a clothes designer and her sister is a model.

I did as she said, going through my closet and placing the clothes on my bed, but I just ended up zoning out and staring at the clothes. Bringing up going to LA got me thinking... What if Colby goes back and sees his amazing new friends again and forgets about me? Or what if he realizes I'm not worth his time? Or what will his fans think? Will they like me? They've never liked any girl that's been close to him, before. Will Colby still want to be with me if they don't like him? What about Sam, what will he think about me? Or will I get along their new friends?
