Virgil sighed and collapsed onto his bed, kicking his feet aimlessly, staring at the ceiling with blank eyes. It had been over two weeks since the run in with Janus and he had been slowly improving; coming out of his room more, talking to Remy and Thomas. He still wasn't paying much attention in school, relying almost completely on Logan for class and homework, or speaking out in class to the point hardly anyone, teachers and students alike knew what his voice sounded like as he sat at the back and doodled for six hours a day.

Virgil closed his eyes as boredom crept in. He had maths homework due for the next day that he probably should do but to be honest he had no fucking clue what any of it meant. Letters just didn't belong in maths and he wasn't bothered about trying to understand it. He scrolled aimlessly through tumblr for a bit but found nothing of interest, throwing his phone to the said after a few minutes. He struggled to find a reason as to why nothing was holding his attention, choosing to ignore the glaringly obvious explanation:

Roman.

As much as he hated to admit it, Virgil had found his thoughts wandering to the boy more and more often over the last fortnight. He was unable to shake him from his mind; no matter how hard he tried, the thoughts always lingered in the back of his head, constantly resurfacing.
He also had a habit of literally forgetting how to speak when he was around Roman. It irritated him to no end.

To distract himself, he did what he always did when he wanted to ignore his thoughts or emotions; he drew. Pulling a new hardback red notebook from his jacket pocket and beginning to sketch. With no particular image in mind he let his creativity flow and, 30 minutes later, ended up with something he was confused by but quite liked.

He wasn't sure if the drawing had any subconscious meaning behind it or if it was completely random but he liked the way it looked

Checking the time and, seeing that it was almost 8:30pm, he decided to go shower and maybe draw some more. He wandered over to the door, his head filled with winged figures and red-headed boys.

Ps. Ok so I know I've got two fics going on at the same time but I kinda maybe have an idea for another (still SS) so I have a question:

If/when I write that one (after this one is done) would you prefer first person (I said) or third person (he said).
