Natasha's POV:
It was early, maybe 1 or 2am, but I didn't bother checking. I didn't want to disturb anything although we weren't asleep, we were just laying here. I found myself curled in Steve's arms, my tank top and shorts pajamas weren't keeping me warm enough in the cold compound. I put my hand on his chest and felt it rise and fall slowly. Steve had one arm around me, and he placed his other hand on mine. I looked up at him.
"We need to discuss...this." I said quietly.
"Yeah. We do." He said.
"I'll make it easy."
"Okay."
"Steve?"
"Yeah?"
"Who do you want me to be?" I asked him. He chuckled.
"You." He said seriously.
"Why do you have to be so damn nice all of the time?"
"I don't know." He mumbled. He kissed me softly over and over until we fell asleep.
