Dick and Kory had gotten the family inside the motel and tied them all up in different rooms. The parents with him and Kory, and the children with Rachel, Garth and I.

"Why are you and your weird family trying to kill me?" Rachel demanded to them, her eyes flickered between the two as she stood in front of them. I stood besides Garth, who was sat on some draws.

"You should come with us," the boy began, his gaze just on Rachel, it was kind of creepy to watch.

"Seriously," the girl chipped into the conversation. "Be better for everyone," she went on, her gaze just on Rachel.

"If not, we're all going to be in trouble," the boy added, he paused for a moment and took his gaze to the girl, as they looked at one another. "You don't wanna be in trouble,"

"No, you do not," the girl added, making me shake my head at them. They must be working for someone who wants Rachel. My gaze went to Garth who was looking kind of confused with the conversation, but I wore the same look.

But my mind went back to Dick's entrance in the parking lot, or should I say Robin's entrance. I couldn't believe it, he was Robin and all this time he didn't say anything. I didn't know what to feel; hurt, sadness, or appreciation for that night I was in Gotham, the night I was attacked. Robin was there, he saved me and I never got to thank him.

But now I know who was under the mask...

..........................

Rachel had exited the room to talk to Dick who we saw leave the motel and to the family's car in the parking lot. I was behind her within a few minutes, allowing them to speak alone. I believe that our time to speak would come soon enough. Kory and I met up in the hallway as she grouped them all back together, securing them down in their chairs.

We walk across the parking lot, to see Dick, Rachel and Garth talking to one another. "Any luck?" Kory states as we closed in, and stood still. Dick turns around and faces us, as he holds open the car door the family came in.

"I'm gonna find out who's running this freak show," he responded, his eyes on me for a moment, before looking away.

"Yeah, I'll come with you," Kory offers her assistance with finding more about this.

"They'll kill any cops who try to handle 'em," Dick states, referring to the family inside, if we had them over to the cops.

"Oh, I know what to do with them, all right," Kory replied back as she would want to kill them and be done with it.

"Kory, no killing. Please. There's been enough," Dick gave her a command of sorts as he didn't want anyone else to die tonight.

"I thought we weren't splitting up," Rachel's voice came to play, making me look to her as she looks kind of sad.

"I'm coming back. I promise," Dick states, but I knew that he would come back. I took a few steps to Rachel's side, and wrapped my arm around her shoulder, giving her a side-ways hug. "Keep them safe," that was aimed at Kory.

"Of course," I hear her reply as she would keep us all safe, she would do anything to protect Rachel and all of us. We watch Dick drive away, but my hug on Rachel never faded. The car vanishes from our sights, leaving us there alone for now.

"Who wants Chinese?" Kory's voice emitted through the night, making us all look at her. But I think we were all too nervous to eat anything at this moment in time...

"I think I want sleep more," I smiled at her, before we all wondered back inside, my grip on Rachel didn't let go until we got back to Kory's room as her room was free and she would be watching the family. But Rachel, Garth and I would be sleeping, if anything does happen, Kory will protect us...

..............................................

I stood in a middle of a playground in school, children playing around me, screams of laughter fill my ears. I look down to myself to see I was me, me in the presents. But as I look out to the playground, I see my younger self, all alone, not one paying attention to her, no friends she could call her own. It was like she was...

Invisible...

My heart began to break, seeing my younger self like this, all alone as a child. My childhood was lonely and I didn't have friends of my own. But I didn't need them, I had my parents. They were all I needed in my life. As I watched some more my younger self began to turn invisible, her heart filled with pain and sadness and no one would ever see her... Within seconds she had turned Invisible, no one even seeing her. Though the years to come was going to be hard for her, and rough, but in the end she will be all right. Suddenly, the surroundings around me had vanished in a blink of an eye, and I was just standing in a vast whiteness. There was nothing around me but pure white, but it felt more like light, shining brightly and it felt warm.

"The truth lies fair within," a distorted voice range out, making me cock my gaze all around to find the source, but it was coming from everywhere. "Find what you have lost. Seek what you will gain. Keep what you have made," the voice was distorted and I have no idea what they were on about. But I had a feeling that I would know it when I see it.

Suddenly, I jolt awake, sweat poured from my forehead as my eyes cast around the room. There was no sign of Rachel or Garth, but the sun was out, meaning it was morning. I took a few deep breaths, as the dream I had was weird and made no sense to me. Just then, Kory enters the room her gaze on me, her expression went to worry.

"Are you all right?" She asks, raising an eyebrow up at me, as she noticed my complexion. I quickly wipe the sweat from my forehead, and sat at the edge of the bed.

"Yeah, fine. Just bad dream," I spoke to her, leaning down and grabbing my heels. "Do you need something?" I went on, while slipping on my black heels, before standing and facing her.

"Yeah. We're moving out. Dick's in Chicago and he wants us there," Kory responded quickly.

"What about the family?" I questioned to her, as I raised an eyebrow this time around.

"Oh, they're dead," Kory said without missing a beat and not caring. I gave her a 'knowing' look, as my eyes burned into her. "It wasn't me, their heads blew off," she states holding her hands up slightly. But I had a gut feeling like I could trust her, and she didn't do it.

"I believe you," I spoke gently to her giving her a smile. "Now let's get going," my smile didn't fade as she offered one back. Now that we were on our way to Dick to see what he had found and hopefully we would get to the bottom on who wants Rachel so badly...

But my dream was playing on my mind, what did it all mean. What have I lost, what am I seeking? And what have I made?
