People would make fun of him, they would laugh at him, or they would be disgusted, and disappointed… No. Zak shook the thoughts out of his head. No, they won't even find out in the first place, he was sure of that.

The next day Zak was awoken by several noises coming from his phone. He sleepily grabbed the device from his nightstand and unlocked it.

Zak decided to leave him on read. He did want to tell Darryl, but he didn't know how. And he didn't want to tell him at the same time. He knew Darryl would never make fun of him for such thing, but still, Zak was afraid he would. And irrational fear, you could call it.

He left me on read. What? Why? Did I say something wrong? I sent him another text.

Darryl was starting to worry about Zak. He hadn't seen the boy online throughout the whole day. Was he really that upset? Darryl decided to text him once more, this time Zak hopefully won't leave Darryl on read again.
