Chapter 44: Ash & Serena's Date!?

*Serena's POV

It was our sixth day in Kalos and tomorrow night we would be leaving back in Kalos so I knew I had to make a move with the plan I had come up with the girls as soon as I woke up that morning

I woke up and I found Ash was still sleeping but I really really needed him to be awake so I tapped his shoulder 

"Hm?" Ash asked quietly, not showing any signs of awakening 

"Ash I need to talk to you" I said and he slowly opened his eyes and looked at me, and I began to blush because it was really cute

"Just the person I want to see first when I wake up" He said quietly

"Huh?" I asked

"Nothing. What do you need?" He asked curiously 

"I-I need you to get up" I answered

"But i'm tired" He complained

"Please Ash. It would mean the world to me" I begged and he groaned and sat up

"Yes?" He then asked

*Flashback

"Since you guys don't have much time left, I say you do something with Ash before you guys leave" Misty suggested

"Yeah that's a great idea!" May added

"L-Like what?" I asked

"You could ask him on a date" Miette proposed teasingly

"W-What! You already heard him! He's not interested!" I replied

"That's why taking him on a date would change his mind!" Mallow said

"I-I can't ask him on a date" I insisted as I began to blush really hard

"That's why you have to be smart with your wording" Lillie replied

"Just tell him you want him to show you around or something" Lana added

*End of Flashback

"Serena? You didn't wake me up just to blank out on me did you?" Ash asked as he waved his hand in front of my face

"I-I wanted you to show me around a little bit more" I then said as I pushed my index fingers against each other nervously 

"Sure but why does it need to happen now?" He then asked

"Because... it's going to take a long time" I answered 

"You want me to show you around the whole day?" He asked and I nodded my head

"Alright then" He agreed with a big smile and I smiled back

I then allowed Ash to get ready and together we walked back to the living room to find ourselves last as usual

"There you guys are!" Dawn said

"You guys look ready to go" Misty added

"Serena wants me to show her around the city" Ash replied and I started to blush really hard again

"Right, take care of her Ash" Shauna said teasingly and he raised an eyebrow at her 

"Have fun on your d-" Bonnie was about to say but reluctantly Clemont covered her mouth

"You guys are weird" Ash said with a strange tone 

We then said our final goodbyes and we walked out of the cabin and I was all ready to go for our date.... even if it was a one sided date but I was alright with that
