Mini Chapter: Reminsicining

Quick Note: This mini chapter will be chronological

"What.... is that?" Ash asked

Whatever was incoming was then visible as it nearly trampled Ash but stopped mere inches before doing so

"Tauros?" Ash asked

"Moo!"

"You know this Tauros?" Serena asked

"Yeah it's mine, I don't know what he's doing outside of his Pokeball though" Ash confirmed and an idea popped into his head "Here"

Ash took Serena's hand which made her blush but he didn't notice or he didn't understand the meaning, regardless, he jumped onto Tauros and helped Serena her up

"Are you sure about this?" Serena asked nervously

"It's not that much different then riding a rhyhorn" Ash assured

"Then how come you can't ride a Rhyhorn?" Serena then asked teasingly

"Maybe I just wanted you to show me" Ash answered as he pat Tauros's head

"Huh?"

"Let's go Tauros" Ash instructed "Hang on tight Serena" and she instinctively wrapped her arms around Ash's waist which made both of them blush, but neither could see each other

"Looks like we're finally here!" Ash said

"H-How... are you... not.... tired..... from that?" Serena asked she caught her breath

"You learned how to ride a Rhyhorn from the best of the best and you thought that was intense? I'm surprised" Ash stated

"It was much more violent then a Rhyhorn" Serena defended "No offense Tauros, thank you"

"Moo!"

Ash then returned Tauros into its Pokeball and Serena began to follow her crush around the park

"Hold on!" Serena said and Ash turned and gave her a puzzled look "I forgot that there's something in this park I needed to show you"

Serena grabbed Ash's wrist and ran towards what she was looking for, dragging him along

"Is it that important?" Ash asked curiously

"Yes!" Serena quickly answered

The two then stopped running as Serena pulled Ash into the forest, and they walked for a couple of minutes until reaching their destination

"Here we are!" Serena announced with a big smile

"Woah..." Ash said in amazement

"Like it?" Serena asked

"It's almost the exact same.... it's kind of scary" Ash answered

Before Ash was a small spot in the forest that was nearly identical to the spot where they had met all those years ago.....

"I found it the other day but I guess I forgot to tell you" Serena explained as she sat down and leaned against the tree

"I'm glad you found it, brings back good memories" Ash said as he joined Serena

"I wish we could go back to those days sometimes" Serena said and she put her hand on top of Ash's which made him confused, but he didn't move and let it happened "but these days are good also.... besides the strange stuff"

"Strange stuff?"

"Calem, blind lawyers..... assassins"

"There's a lot of stuff I didn't know existed before I came to Kalos" Ash replied

"I'm learning with you" Serena added

"Do you.... remember when we said goodbye to each other?" Ash then asked

*Flashback

"I.... guess this is it" Serena said

"I guess it is" Ash agreed

"Um, th-thanks for being my friend Ash" Serena thanked

"No problem! Thanks for being a great friend!" Ash replied

"I'll miss you" Serena then said and she tightly hugged Ash

"I'll miss you too! But I'll tell you what" Ash said as Serena released

"What?" Serena asked

"We'll reunite one day! I promise!" Ash answered

"You... promise?"

"On everything!"

Serena held out her pinky and Ash got the queue as their pinkies intertwined

"Ok then! And if we don't, I'll come back to Kanto" Serena accepted

"Or I'll go to Kalos!" Ash replied

"Then it's a deal"

"Right"

*End of flashback

"It really did take a long time.... more then I would've liked it, but it was worth it in the end" Serena said as she rested her head on Ash's shoulder

"Yeah.... it was" Ash agreed

* "This feeling is strange to me.... I feel attracted to Serena but more then psychically...." Ash thought to himself
