HARRY'S POV (CONT'D)

I'm listening." Niall said as he looked at me across the sofa. He was sat on one end and I was on the other end.

The Telly was playing re-runs of Friends. And Niall had been kind enough to offer me a cup of tea, which was nice because it was cold and I had just ran through the rain.

"Well, first of all I'm sorry for not sticking up for you. It's just, I'm sensitive to stuff like that." I began and Niall raised a confused eyebrow.

"I just... why did you do it Niall. I mean we all have done stupid things before in our past and I'm not judging you or anything." I said and he looked utterly confused now.

"I really have no idea what you are on about Harry. But please if you've come here to say shit about my family then you are a hypocrite. Your mum can call me all sorts of names but I don't care because I'm still alive and if I'm alive it means things will one day be good." He said and when he took a deep breath I spoke up but he held up his hand.

"No I'm not finished yet. Look, I once was a boy with dignity and grace but my family ripped that away from me. Luckily I picked myself up and got my dignity back so I don't care what any of you has to say. But let me down slowly because at the end of the day, I'm just a human being." He finished and a single tear slipped from his eyes but he quickly wiped it away.

I was stunned to say the least and now I don't know if we were even on the same page.

Niall made it seem like he was the victim but his actions are what made him to be cut off by his parents.

And what the hell did he mean by being an hypocrite? I cleared my throat and looked up. I'm here to get answers and answers I will get.

"I'm sorry that you had to go through the whole ordeal of being cut off by your family Niall, but I kind of understand their reasoning. I went through what the wife and kids went through when my dad left us for someone else-"

"What the hell are you on about? You mean yo tell me that you understand why my family cut me off when I cam-"

"Let me talk Niall, I'm not finisged. I had a happy family with both my parents when I was young but my dad cheated on my mum and later left us. I have zero space in my heart for home breakers but no matter how bad the situation was, I just wanna know why you did it." I said and look at him dead in the eyes.

He still looked confused.

"I'm so sorry to hear that but what have home breakers got to do with me?" He asked and I scoffed.

"I don't know why you are acting like you don't know what I'm on about."

"That's because I don't know. Are you married and I was about to wreck your home?" He asked with confusion and maybe he really didn't know that I knew.

"Okay, I'm gonna say it straight up. The way you realized that you were gay was by sleeping with your brother's bestfriend who was a bisexual married man by the way. And his wife found out and left him but luckily for him they made up. Ring a bell now?" I said and he stood up from his seat.

"WHAT?!" He looked at me with a horrified expression and I sat up.

"Harry who told you that?" He asked with tears glistening his eyes.

"Well, your whole family had come to dinner at ours for the first time and that was when I actually told someone else aside from my mum,my sister and Liam that I was gay. Your mum told us that her youngest son was gay too but that they had disowned you because you wrecked the home of your brother's bestfriend. Said you slept with him and that's how you came to terms with your sexuality and that was why they couldn't stand you and had to cut you off. And they told us that you had dropped out of Uni and that you were a stripper." When I finished explaining, Niall slid to the floor and brought his knees up to his chest then he buried his face in his knees and sobbed violently.
