A few days passed by, with Taehyung becoming busier each day with his career- it was no joke. He couldn't get too exhausted, as it would cause harm for his baby.

"Hyung," Taehyung calls- a little tired to face another day of his career. "I don't wanna risk it, my check up would be tomorrow.." He says, letting out a stressed sigh as Yoongi gave him an assuring smile.

"Don't worry, Tae. I got ya." Upon hearing those words, Taehyung glanced up with a huge smile on his face. "Really hyung?" He says, wanting to confirm if he heard him right.

"You're pregnant. We can't risk anything or the baby and you would suffer. It's easy to find reasons on your sudden rest." Taehyung lets out a relieved sigh, hugging Yoongi. "Thank you so much, hyung!" He says, finally getting his most awaited rest.

"Rest well, hun. We can't keep it forever though." Yoongi reminds, hand resting on Taehyung's small tummy- understandble as it was still his first trimester. "I know hyung.." His smile drops, his heart feeling heavy as he remembers he is a popular idol- one wrong statement can destroy his career, everyone working for him would affected.

He can't let that happen.

"But don't worry, there is nothing Kim Taehyung won't handle." He speaks proudly, even though his throat felt like there was a lump in it, he pushed through just to assure Yoongi he was fine with anything.

"You're a brave boy Taehyung. I know that. Health first, now you may go." Finally freed from his exhausting job, he bids his goodbye to his manager who stayed behind. He grabs his things, hurrying off the parking lot to finally drive home.

The next day, Taehyung woke up early. He have gotten enough sleep and so, he woke up with a happy smile.

"I guess today will be your check up day, little one?" Taehyung says whilst caressing his tummy, a fond smile on his face as he felt happy talking to the baby inside him- it made him feel more like a mother, and he began to accept it.

He gets up from his bed, walking towards the bathroom as he did his usual morning routine before heading to the kitchen to cook himself some food.

Though, he felt nervous about the check up. It was something that also bothered him. The last time he went to his private doctor was to prescribe another bottle of heat suppressants- but it was already long before. He sure knows his doctor would be surprised to just see him already having a pup soon.

But no, he can do it. If it was for him to know his baby was healthy, then so be it. He can't hide his baby bump soon- and he has to be ready.

Taehyung reaches for his phone, looking through his contacts to call his mate; Jungkook. He doesn't know why, but he just have to call him to maybe remind him for the check up or to check if he's fine.

After a few more rings, he finally hears a voice from the other line. "Hello?"

A smile reaches to Taehyung's face, unconciously. His hand held his stomach carefully as he replies. "Hey kook. It's me." He says, with Jungkook humming at the other line

"It's so early to call, let me sleep." The alpha answers, with Taehyung scrunching his nose cutely. "Should I reschedule my check up? Of course not. You have an hour Jeon." He reminds, apparently remembering that his alpha wasn't a sweet type of person.

Cocky and pure idiot. That's what he would describe Jungkook as.

"Oh- it's today isn't it? Dammit, Jimin didn't even bother to wake me up-- bastard." He cussed in the end, trying to silence himself but was still audible to Taehyung. "What a nice way for you to say goodmorning isn't it?" He replies sarcastically, with Jungkook just groaning in the end.

"I'll be there in thirty minutes." Was all that he said before hearing a shuffle and thud on the other line before it went to a call ended sound.

"Aigoo." Taehyung mumbles, eating his meal up with a sigh if disbelief. "Your dad is really like this, isn't he?" Though he can't do pretty much about it- at least he was still there to take responsibility and that's what mattered to Taehyung.

When he was done eating, he hops to the bathroom and took a quick shower. He dressed up casually, though his shirt was still oversized as he can't let people notice even just a small bump or changes on his body. Just not this early.

Taehyung waits patiently for Jungkook, casually looking out his window if his car was already outside. "Baby, you're healthy for me right?" He talks to himself, checking the things he would need until he hears a car honk from the outside.

He smiles, locking the door shut as he went towards the alpha's car. "Kookie!" Taehyung says, rather happily as he sat at the front seat. "You did came by. Thank you." He says as he turns to Jungkook who gave him a nod.

"It's not a big deal.." Jungkook mumbles, though he wasn't already feeling it to be happy like Taehyung.

"Is something wrong?" The omega tries to ask, though he didn't want to bother the alpha to say it- they weren't even a thing to care.

"Am fine, it's nothing." Jungkook says, a small frown evident on his face as if he had just gone through a problem on the way. Maybe he was just having a bad day? Taehyung thought to himself as Jungkook starts to drive.

"You look sad." Taehyung mumbles, looking out of the window as he watched the buildings they passed by.

"I told you," Jungkook says "I'm fine. It's not like you've seen me happy with you." He spats, in a rather harsh way for Taehyung to understand.

"Ah, yes. I get it." Taehyung was quick to reply, holding his tummy as he felt his heart becoming heavy again-

what was wrong with Jungkook, even?

Will be writing another update for this. The heavy drama isn't even here yet, but it's time for you ggukies to prepare.
