Eighty Nine: A cozy dinner

"We're back!" Jimin yells enthusiastic as soon as they hop off their car. It had been a long day for him and Yoongi but he couldn't complain neither as he enjoyed having dates with his mate.

"Did you both enjoy your date?" Taehyung was the first to greet the two, being the one to open the door as he was currently having the normal routine of walking around the house.

"Surely did! We even bought dinner just so you both don't have to cook." Yoongi raises the plastic bags with takeouts by Jimin's mention, smiling when Jungkook came into view- carrying Minjun who was wide awake in his arms.

"Babie!" Jimin cooed, skipping towards Jungkook's direction. "Oh my cutie babie, did you miss uncle?" He babytalked, pouting his lips as if he was doing his aegyo infront of the wolf.

Minjun reaches his mitten paws in the air again, though his eyes was focused to his beholder which was his dad. "He's gonna be three weeks old by the next week, gosh he's getting so cute." Jungkook couldn't help but say, his eyes shaking as he admires how cute Minjun's visuals was- a perfect mixture.

"Jun will be a cute toddler, I can already place my bets." Jimin smiles, stretching his arms out so Jungkook can give him Minjun who remained calm throughout the whole situation.

Taehyung however makes his way to Yoongi who had set down the plastic food trays to the kitchen counter. Although the alpha looked happy, he could still sense something was going on.

"How did the checkup go, hyung?" Taehyung asks, deciding to help Yoongi unpack the foods- it wasn't a heavy job so the wolf let him either way.

"It's still the same.." Yoongi sighs, stopping what he was doing as Taehyung volunteers to arrange them instead. "Every time we face Seokjin, he would always tell us the same results. I can't blame him, neither my mate. It's his nature and I just.."

"Hyung," Taehyung cuts him off when he sees the male's lips fall to a frown. "I'm so sorry to hear that, but please don't be sad about it. It may be hard to process Jimin's inability of having baby pups into your thoughts but it happens. I just don't want you two sad, it hurts to see Jimin in pain or even you Yoongi hyung." He spoke with a careful tone, not wanting sound nosy as he just wanted to cheer the two up.

"I feel bad about pushing Jimin to come with me to the appointments, I know he's tired of the fact he can't have babies being rubbed to his face- but I just wanted a happy family. I love Jimin, but it frustrates the two of us whenever we come across the thoughts of not having a baby." Yoongi clenches his fists before taking deep breaths.

"I'm sorry that I can't do anything hyung.." Taehyung replied, looking at Yoongi with concern before rubbing circles on his back. "You'll get through this. The both of you. Don't let this be a downfall to a bond that had been destined together." He doesn't forget to remind- Yoongi sure wanted a child so bad, that he was afraid that the latter would leave Jimin by this reason alone.

But no, he would not do that. Yoongi isn't dumb enough to leave his fated mate.

"Thank you, Tae. Maybe I was just like this because I had nothing else to do- aside from being a side babysitter." Yoongi's eyes travels back to the living room where Jimin was having the moment of his life- cradling Minjun in his arms with a proud smile on his face.

"Even if one day I will be giving up on Jin's research and test results, I would be adopting kids." He bit his lower lip, determined. "Jimin deserves to be happy- he deserves a child to take care of and a family."

"That's right hyung. Only you can give that to him, there are tons of ways to show Jiminnie what a family truly is- and I hope you will never give up on making him understand that." The omega finishes his task on preparing the dining table, sighing in content before nodding at Yoongi.

"Dinner's ready!" Yoongi switches back to normal, not wanting the two other wolves to worry about their deep conversation. He watches Jimin hand Minjun back to Jungkook who tagged behind, deciding to carry his son while eating.

"Jungkook ah, be careful with Jun." Taehyung sat beside him this time, with Yoongi and Jimin settled at the opposite side so they would be able to face each other.

"Not the first time, babe." The alpha winks, shaking the baby bottle with Taehyung's fresh breastmilk lightly before feeding it to their son. "Now eat up and watch over yourself. Tell me if your stitches hurt too."

"Stop, Jeon I can clearly look over myself. Look after you." The omega whines playfully, beginning to munch down to his food as he glances down to the young baby wolf that was also drinking his own dinner.

"Aye aye, sexy captain." Jungkook grins, with Jimin coughing fakely as if he was surprised of the situaton even if it was normal for the two mates to mingle alot whenever they get the time.

"I'm sensing a baby number two on its way." Yoongi joked, with Jimin bursting into laughter when he sees Taehyung's eyes widen with Jungkook wiggling his eyebrows at him.

"See? Even Yoongi agrees, babe. Why not baby number two?" Jungkook smirks, though Taehyung wasn't buying any of it.

"Only if you are the one to give birth and if you allow to get your nipple bit by our baby's gum." Taehyung grumbled, eating more of his food though he was still careful enough to eat slowly.

"Hmm~ I'll think about that." Jungkook grins before checking Minjun who was slowly falling asleep in his arm. "But for now, you and Minjun is enough." He says, his other hand moving to feed himself.

They continued their dinner with random topics, laughing away their stress and thoughts of reality as happiness began to win over their troubles.

Not knowing what had awaited them by the time they snap back.
