~Davina's POV~

I open the door to Vina's room and sit down on the side edge. Shaking her awake, she whines a little before looking at me. I give her a warm smile, waiting for realization to wash over her face but she remains in a sleepy haze. I'm more excited about this than she is. I've always been a holiday person, more so Halloween than Christmas, but both have always excited me and turn me into a little girl all over again.
"Santa came came last night," I tell her. To this her eyes light up. She must have forgotten what day it was. She shoots up out of bed and starts tugging at my arm for me to follow her out and down the hall. I laugh as I try not to trip her or me on the way. Sin is still knocked out on the couch when he get in there. Emmy lets out an excited gasp when she sees the presents beneath the tree and jogs over there.
Usually he's up before me, but this is a nice change. My body is sore from last night but I've also never felt better. I don't know how I remained so confident last night when part of me wanted to cover myself and keep quiet but a part of me I never knew existed came out. I felt sexy and like I was making him feel just as good as he was making me feel. For first time I felt like I did have the same ownership over him that he does.
I shake his shoulder for him to wake up. He opens one eye and grins. Suddenly he's a morning person. His arm lazily wraps around my waist and tugs me down. His eyes close again, shifting closer to me when I sit on the edge of the cushion to keep from falling on my sore butt.
"I'm still tired. You wore me-" I slap his arm before he can finish his sentence. His eyes shoot open and follow my gaze down to where Emmy is patiently sitting. "Stay right here for a minute, you're blocking me. You should have woke me up before you brought here."
"Get up!" Emmy tells him. I laugh, finding his situation funny although it's horrible for him. I can feel his morning wood pressing against my back. I didn't even know that was a real thing and I never noticed him getting it before, but then again he's always up before me.
"Give me a minute, Princess. I need to wake up," he says. Actually something needs to go back to sleep if you know what I mean. My own joke makes me giggle, earning a confused look from the both of them. I clear my throat and rest my hand on top of his. It takes him a few more minutes but he soon sits up and stretches out his muscular arms. There are cuts from where my nails were scratching him scarred all over arms, wrists, shoulders, and I'm sure his back too. There are hickies on his chest and neck. Thankfully the dark ink of his tattoos make them less noticeable. "Like you your art work?" He asks me teasingly in a whisper.
"Yeah," I say with a smile. He brings himself down to the floor with Emmy and hands her a box.
"That's from Enzo," he tells her. She looks at the box as if she doesn't want to open it but proceeds to anyways and in the end smiles widely at the kid air products that I know for sure she'll be using on me instead of herself. "Like him now?"
"He's still a pendejo."
"A what?!" Sin says loudly, making her eyes go wide. "Where did you learn that word?" Her eyes go to me and I laugh nervously.
"She said you were a pendejo."
"I'm a what?" He says again in shock and looks to me.
"I did not!" I lie.
"Yes, you did! To Princess!" She defends herself. My eyes narrow at her playfully.
"Snitches get stitches little girl." She sticks her tongue out at me and continue to open the presents without saying it again. Sin lets it slide and peacefully watches her with his hand on my knee, his thumb creasing it slowly. I play with his hair. She eventually finished her presents and starts looking through the clothes I picked out for her. She seems happy with everything like I knew she would. Seeing her so happy today with Christmas presents that Sin and I went and got for her makes me excited for next year with another baby.
"I'm gonna go put this on," she say with a smile and runs off. Sin moves closer to the tree and grabs two boxes from the side of the tree. I get up and do the same, my body screaming at me to sit down again because of my aching muscles. He looks down at the wrapped boxes I hand to him when I sit down.
"I told you not to get me anything," he says. "You are more than enough."
"Stop being cheesy and open them," I tell him with a smile, setting mine to the side. As he rips the paper his new tattoo catches my eye. I love it so much even though it may seem immature to others. His reasoning behind it is what makes me love it. He's right, him having my name permanently in him gives me a a feeling of security and knowing I'm his and no one else is. No matter what's in those two boxes that will be my favorite.
"Boxing gloves," he says with a smile. "Getting tired of my bloody knuckles?"
"No, I just thought it would feel better for you. You've been saying how sore they've been," I explain. He smiles and opens the other box. I'm not sure about this one but it seemed like something he would like. It's one of those chunky rings that he wears with a D and E on it. He opens the box it comes in and smiles widely, flashing his perfect teeth that he doesn't show as often as he should.
"I love it," he says, slipping it on his ring finger and clenching his hand into a fist a few times while looking at it. "I got you something kind of similar in the smaller box," he tells me as he grabs it from my side and places it on my lap.
I quickly open it and smile down at the silver necklace that has his and Emmy's initials on it in cursive letters. "I love it," I tell him. He gestures for me to open the next box that's a little bitter. When I open it to see nothing but an envelope I laugh.
"This gift is up to you," he says. My brows tug together at his words as I tear the paper and pull out two plane tickets to Brazil. My eyes widen in shock at his extravagant gift.
"Sin, you promised you wouldn't get anything expensive," I tell him. He rolls his eyes. "You're amazing, you know that?"
"I've been told a few times," he says cockily as he reaches over and pecks my lips. Emmy runs back in dress in an outfit I got her. Thankfully it fits perfectly and she looks cute as ever. The little fashionista topped it off with a black beanie that matches perfectly. "There's one more thing. This was more of a team effort with me and Elvia," he says. I'm surprised when he mentions her. She's one of the maids who I'm actually close with on a level that's more like a friendship.
He reaches under the couch and pulls out a cream colored photo album that has white lace decorated over it. There's a picture of him and I with Emmy between us in the very front before you open it. I open the book and am blown away by how beautiful the pictures are the fact that he organized them from oldest to newest. We have more pictures of just the two of us than I was expecting. Tears escape my eyes that he quickly wipes away with the pads of his thumbs.
"Thank you," I tell him, setting it to the side and wrapping my arms around him. He laughs when Emmy hugs us both, trying to reach her arms around us but they are too short. He pulls back and pulls her to his lap.
"Should we tell her?" He asks. I nod, excited to hear what she's going to think of having a new brother or sister. I have a feeling she's going to be happy but there's a small chance it could be the opposite with how possessive she is over her dad.
"Would you want a brother or sister?" I ask her. She cocks a brow at me. I chuckle at her reaction.
"A brother," she says which surprises the both of us. "So I could boss him around," she says with an evil smile. He rolls his eyes at her.
"Well you might get one in a few months," he tells her. Her light green eyes widen as she looks back to me. "You're gonna be a big sister."
"You're having a baby?!" She says loudly. I smile, laughing at her happy reaction. She throws her arms around me and gives a tight hug. "I love you." Frick, all these hormones affecting my emotions is making me so I can't stop crying.
"I love you too."
