Cara's P.O.V.

I tried to give Hannah a call but it went to voice mail. I was getting worried when she didn't call back. I had to remind myself that we were in different time zones and it was late in New York. She'll call me back later.  I sent her a picture of the outfit Priya picked for me.

I had to admit that I looked pretty good even though I had to go through the measuring ordeal. I was dressed in a burgundy suit with a black silk dress shirt. Priya really wanted me in stilettos but that was not going to happen. I told her I would break my ankles if I had to walk in them. I do have weak ankles.  She gave me a pair of black oxfords instead.

I was waiting for Priya outside my hotel. She texted me that she would be here in a few minutes. I asked Jane if she wanted to come but she was busy preparing herself to become Mrs. Tyson Willis.

A sleek red Porsche stopped beside me. Once the passenger side window rolled down, I saw Priya smirking at me.

"Mmmm just what I like to see, a hot girl waiting for me," She purred.

"I...uhhh..." I looked around me, unsure of what to say.

"Come on, get in."

I hesitantly got into the car.  Everything from the smooth black leather and the metallic finishes glistened. Priya was dressed in a tight white dress with a diamond open front dress that showed a lot of her ample bosom. Priya gave me a once over, appreciating her work.

"I have to admit, I know how to pick a style." She reached over and smoothed out my collar, her fingers lingered for a few seconds before they returned to the steering wheel.

I could feel my heart beating and it wasn't just because she was driving like a speed demon. It was from nerves. I kept reminding myself to open my horizons and make new friends. I still don't know how it worked. I didn't even remember how I made friends in college. In high school, I just hung out with Luna and her friends. I can do this. I can be a social person and have a normal life.

"So how are you enjoying your trip?"

"It's been fine. I miss New York," I answered. This wasn't bad. I can answer questions.

"I went to fashion school in New York and I hated it," Priya stated. "I just didn't like the winters and people are rude. I'm just a Cali girl. The sunshine and the laid back attitude that's what I like."

"Yeah, I can see that." My father's side of the family lived in California and my cousins were very different from my cousins who grew up on the east coast.

"How long have you known Zara?" Priya made a sharp turn that made me grip onto my seat.

"Not long. You?" Please don't die today. I finally have a significant other and she is waiting for me back home.

"Two years. After I moved back to L.A. I saw an ad that she was looking for a stylist on a film she was working on and the rest is history," Priya stated.

"She seems to be really cool," I said.

"She can be," Priya said nonchalantly. "I think she's kind of boring. She doesn't know how to enjoy life."

"What do you mean?"

"She gets hit on by all these hot actresses and models but she doesn't give them a chance because she thinks they just want to use her because her dad is a big movie executive and she has her own production company," Priya replied. "She's just assuming and even if they were using her, she can do the same with them too."

Well, Zara did say she had a bad social life. Maybe she got burned too many times in the past.

"It's Hollywood, everyone wants to use someone to get ahead," Priya added as she pulled in front of her tea house.  She got out of the car and went to follow her.
